When he was 4 months old it was found that he was suffering from Hydrocephalus ( a b n o r m a l accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the ventricles of the brain). He was first operated at 5 months of age wherein a VP shunt surgery was done using an Indian Shunt. Due to this surgery, Suresh had to bear the side effect of tightening of Achilles Tendon (tendon of the back of the leg) for which he was operated in 2009. Later in 2011, Suresh had episodes of vomiting and loose motions for which he had a replacement surgery of the Indian Shunt and an Imported Programmable Shunt was put. But on 16th December 2014, Suresh suddenly had episodes of vomiting followed by a neck pain.
