A relentless work ethic combined with his dedicated fanbase have seen the 23-year-old Brit go from local
pubs to sold-out arenas across the globe in just four years, selling millions of records along the way.
x, featuring lead single ‘Sing’ and its biting follow up tune ‘Don’t’, subtly pushes the boundaries of
Sheeran’s Grammy-nominated debut album + (pronounced ‘plus’) and is the work of a musician who
was raised on a diet of rock, folk, hip hop and R&B in equal doses.
Writing for x began three years ago, before debut album + was even released. With the help of coproducer Rick Rubin, hundreds of songs were cut down to twelve tracks that effortlessly flow between
different musical styles.
