TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENT UPDATES FOR MRT CONSTRUCTION WORKS ON JALAN DAMANSARA AND JALAN WALTER GRENIER IN BUKIT BINTANG KUALA LUMPUR, 30 JANUARY 2015: MMC Gamuda KVMRT (T) Sdn Bhd (MGKT) wishes to announce short-term night lane closures on Jalan Damansara (KL bound) and Jalan Walter Grenier in Bukit Bintang. Details of the closures are as below: 1. NIGHT LANE CLOSURE ON JALAN DAMANSARA Location Date Time Duration Reason Jalan Damansara (near Muzium Negara) 2, 4 and 6 February 2015 10:00 pm – 5:00 am 3 nights Removal of construction waste and materials from the station box The closure, involving a 30-metre stretch of the two left lanes (KL city bound) along Jalan Damansara near Muzium Negara will be implemented on 2, 4 and 6 February 2015. The closure is necessary to facilitate removal of construction waste and materials from the station box at the Muzium Negara MRT underground station site. The fast lane will remain open for traffic during the closure. Please see Map 1 below on the location of the closure. 2. NIGHT ROAD CLOSURE ON JALAN WALTER GRENIER IN BUKIT BINTANG Location Date Time Duration Reason Jalan Walter Grenier in Bukit Bintang 8 February 2015 – 10 February 2015 10:00 pm – 5:30 am 3 nights Interlocking works There will be night road closure along Jalan Walter Greenier in Bukit Bintang from 8 February 2015 till 10 February 2014, to facilitate interlocking works. The closure will be implemented between 10:00 pm and 5:30 am. During the closure, motorists who wish to go to Hotel Royal are advised to use an alternative route via Jalan Sultan Ismail towards Jalan Bukit Bintang and Jalan Imbi before turning into Lorong Grenier. Motorists are advised to follow the directional signage and during the closure, the MRT Project Emergency Response Team will be deployed to help direct traffic.
