Viseum intelligent Virtual Operator Software (Viseum iVOS)
Our Intelligent CCTV VCA software product and services are presented in the following way:
We are predominantly the CCTV industry’s most advanced Video Content Analysis (VCA) software house. Our technology
incorporates the largest academic visual surveillance research network in the world. The Viseum technology has attracted the
industry’s leading VCA software developers of digital image processing techniques, and our advanced surveillance profiles are
produced with our leading professional doctorates.
We have general and niche software modules for our intelligent Virtual Operator software (iVOS) platform. The
Viseum price list includes:
The Viseum IMC camera iVOS software operating locally to the camera installation, using the most
commonly used iVOS software modules.
The Viseum CiVMS iVOS software operating centrally at the Command Control Centre using Viseum’s
most commonly used software surveillance modules and common systems integration software
modules.
Budgetary prices for projects include the typical level of niche software modules required for the projects specific
applications.
Our products are delivered plug-&-play as all our software modules are commissioned by Viseum Remote
Managed Support Services.
People and asset surveillance - most commonly used Viseum IMC iVOS software modules
General saliency scouting surveillance – operates using an object points scoring system to include intelligent PTZ
switching process if required.
PTZ camera person detection confirmation - intruder alerts, PIDS, trespassing, etc.
Local knowledge crime hot-spot management.
Surveillance profile scheduling.
People and asset surveillance - most commonly used Viseum CiVMS iVOS software analytics
surveillance modules
Intrusion detection
Camera tamper / scene change detection.
Wrong direction movement detection.
Camera vibration removal.
Line/boundary crossing - single or multiple
Digital auto tracking – using any fixed, PTZ or
virtual trip wire or virtual fence.
fisheye camera.
Crowd detection.
Object trace / travel path.

People and asset surveillance - common VMS systems integration iVOS software modules
People and vehicle counting – for database integration.
Vehicle speed reporting – for traffic management and/or penalty systems integration.
Tailgating detection – for access control systems integration.
Queue length.
License plate or Vehicle Registration Number (VRN) detection – for integration into Viseum ANPR or other ANPR
systems
People and asset surveillance - niche Viseum CiVMS iVOS software modules
Viseum iVOS F3 Find, Fix and Follow (early prototypes known as tag and trace). – requires dedicated processing
server(s).
Viseum iVOS FacRec (Face Recognition) – requires dedicated processing server(s).
High density pedestrian saliency.
Disorder (street fighting) detection and PTZ confirmation and reporting.
Colour profile suspect recognition.
Automated detailed views from PTZ – using the PTZ analysis for an extra level of detection confirmation as
necessary.
Scenario based surveillance profiles e.g. vehicle theft sometimes knows as “car park surfing”.
Single and multiple surveillance views per video channel.
Traffic – general iVOS software modules
Vehicle confirmation – e.g. wrong lane violation.
Viseum iVOS ANPR surveillance profiles e.g. entrance and exiting for cities, critical infrastructures, gated
communities, etc.
Vehicle accident detection and reporting.
Traffic congestion reporting.
DVR – software modules
Viseum Videosweeper – video smart search.
One-touch burn to DVD.
Emergency seize of local hard drive data to USB memory device.
Other brands of DVR can integrate using our APIs and SDKs.
a)
Viseum’s local DVR.
b)
Viseum’s advanced multi view evidence locker.
VMS Command and Control integration for advanced operations - APIs and SDKs
Level 1 - Live PTZ camera PLUS up to 360 contextual view camera streaming.
Level 2 - Viseum IMC DVR and Evidence Locker.
Level 3 - Intelligent video wall/spot screen for incoming alarms.
Level 4 - Operational database management for tracked target data, privacy issues and KPIs.
Level 5 - Touch Screen Functionality:
c)
Adaptive learning algorithms – using operator feedback for characterisation and
reduction of ‘false positive’ alarms.
d)
Target selection with PTZ “point & track or go” functionality.
e)
Local knowledge crime hot-spot management.
Sales demonstrations:
Our website Demonstration section and Reseller Portal provides many movies which will start the sales process.
Following this, demonstrations are provided using either of two options:
f) Live remote online viewing at a selection of Viseum UK field deployments relevant to the buyer’s application
requirements.
g) Delivering a Viseum CCTV Trailer to a client’s point of interest. This offers the greatest impact where the
buyer sees that they can finally have a camera that covers all their assets.
Our demonstrations use our general surveillance scouting profile which is popular for the majority of applications.
A presentation of our leading software capabilities will be included.
These demonstrations help the client understand the unique benefits of Viseum camera deployments and our
partner can then learn more about the client’s initial projects and specific surveillance requirements.
Typical software commissioning process for field deployments
The commissioning process can be achieved either prior to or during live deployments and typically takes less
than one week depending on the level of complexity.
Our RMS services allow the client to modify their surveillance requirements throughout the lifetime of this service
(typically 3 years).
Initial commissioning uses our general scouting surveillance profile and from this the client understands its
capabilities to specify any niche surveillance requirements to be incorporated during commissioning.
Feedback from the client during this process can be used to reduce or eliminate false triggers for when:
1.
The PTZ camera should automatically follow an event.
2.
The PTZ camera should automatically clarify an event.
3.
An event should automatically create a remote alarm.
