“THE BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL” HITS 7K
NFL AND CBS CONTINUE THURSDAY NIGHT
FOOTBALL PACKAGE PARTNERSHIP
On Jan. 18 the National Football League and CBS announced
they will continue their partnership to produce and televise THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL for the 2015 season. Under the deal, CBS
will broadcast the first eight Thursday Night Football games, which
also will be simulcast on NFL Network. NFL Network will also
exclusively televise eight games in the run-up to the playoffs. The
mix of games will include 14 on Thursday nights and two late-season games on Saturday. The full slate of 16 regular season games
will be produced by CBS with its lead broadcast and production
team on all Thursday night games. The pregame, halftime and
postgame shows will continue to feature NFL Network and CBS
Sports hosts and analysts. The agreement is for the 2015 season
with an additional year at the NFL’s option. (Cont. on page 2)

Networks and the newly
launched film, television and multimedia studio STX
Entertainment, announced a
multi-year output agreement to bring motion pictures
distributed theatrically by STX exclusively to Showtime
Networks during the premium television window. The
deal will begin in 2015 and covers the studio’s theatrical releases through 2019, which will be shown exclusively on Showtime Networks and its multiplex channels including SHOWTIME, The Movie Channel and
Flix. STX Entertainment’s first four features include
projects from Oscar winner Mark Johnson (“Rain
Man,” “Breaking Bad”) and Academy Award nominees
Gary Ross (“The Hunger Games,” “Seabiscuit”), Billy
Ray (“Captain Phillips”, “The Hunger Games”) and
Jason Blum (“Whiplash”). The announced projects will
