They know that the tourism industry is a human based business. That's the reason of such an event. Everything on BTExpo is made to enhance the number and quality of personal contacts. BTExpo is the major event for Tourism Professionals in Belgium. It opens its doors every year in December for two days. It is exclusively B2B. It aims to improve contacts between producers of travel products and resellers, mainly travel agents and buyers. BTExpo has the support of the main Belgian travel magazines and travel associations (ABTO, BTO, SITE, UPAV, VVR, ….). Visitor numbers have remained stable throughout the years, despite the various crises. The number of registered visitors reached 4.004 professionals in 2013 (more than 80% of the professional market). Since 2011, the concept has radically changed. BTExpo is now hosted in a central location. Launching rates for exhibitors are lower and the stand structure is more intuitive. In 2013 BTExpo registered 231 Exhibitors 350 Brands 35 European hosted buyers (in addition to the local ones) Organised : 2 Networking lunches (320 participants) 12 Events (workshops, press conferences, Board meetings, award, …) Would you consider to take a stand next year? We support them with the organisation when needed, and with including them in the program. Some of those activities, such as the Networking lunches, Quiz, and Travel Agents Party are pre-organised, whereas others are the result of exhibitors’ imagination and commitment. BTExpo collaborates to any suggestion (cocktails, workshops, particular invitations or activities…). Proposals are always worked out in collaboration with exhibitors, trying to make them profitable for exhibitors. Those initiatives are particularly efficient and mostly with limited investment. You will find hereunder some proposals, bearing in mind that others are always welcome and will be conceived with your collaboration within your budget.
