QQ. What is the difference between mineral
and chemical sunscreens?
AA. Both sunscreens use a different
mechanism for protecting the skin.
Mineral sunscreens are UV filters such as
zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, commonly
referred to as “physical,” which protect
from and reflect UVA/UVB rays. Chemical
sunscreens like oxybenzone, avobenzone,
and octocrylene are also UV filters, most
of which are designed to absorb and
scatter UVA/UVB rays.
QQ. Who can use this product?
AA. The formula was primarily developed for
babies and children. However, teenagers
and adults with sensitive skin may also
benefit from using this sunscreen. For
children under 6 months of age, ask
a doctor.
QQ. How are the ABC products tested
for efficacy?
AA. Each product undergoes a battery of
testing to validate it is safe, gentle and
effective. These tests include, but are
not limited to, independent lab tests, and
usage and clinical studies.
QQ. Why do you use plastic tubes to
package these products?
AA. We use recyclable and food-grade
LDPE and PP plastic to package our
products, ensuring safe and easy use.
The plastic materials are shatterproof and
squeezable. The tubes also come with
a convenient flip-top cap, which make
them ideal for use during bathtime, in the
shower, by the pool or at the beach.
