It was a Very Good Year!
President’s Corner
Christmas Party – 12-9-2014
Party feedback would indicate we all had a good time with delicious food and fellowship. Great to have all the ladies and
families as guests to enjoy the evening. Several spouses were
first timers. We hope you had a good time and will return
again.
Fred Williamson did a great job as first time Food Czar and
kept us organized. Thanks to Fred, and all the many volunteers that assisted. We try to fine tune the event preparations
each year.
Mars Champaign was not able to attend as he had another
volunteer job to handle (Lions Toys for Tots Coordinator). We
want to give a huge thanks to Mars for handling the CVW
Newsletter as editor. I would suspect Mars out-volunteers all
of us, even at age 91. Peter Welch has stepped up to replace
Mars as editor.
Oh yes, our Tom Evans goofed up his calendar and could not
attend and then he wins as one of the four in our Cherry
Challenge AND won the raffle for the giant chunk of rosewood!! Good luck chases him down.
Thanks to the many members who helped make this affair
happen.
Have a Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and Happy New
Year! Dennis Hippen
