Service Tool Kit
Removing the threaded pinion retainer on the VW 095-01P series of transmissions
(which also houses the pinion seal) has always been a task without the right
tooling.
Using the VXT-14000’s deep castellated spanner socket, which accepts a 1/2”
drive, makes this near effortless.
• Safely removes and refits the castellated pinion retaining nut
• Allowing easy removal of the pinion shaft
• Permitting inspection & renewal of the main pinion bearing & seal
