WHS Weekly Bulletin95 - Wenatchee High School!!

Wenatchee High School Weekly Bulletin – 9/5
Wenatchee High Pride
Thanks to all our students, teachers, staff, and parents who made our first week back to school
a successful one! As we begin the school year, remember this is a fresh start. Put in your
best efforts and be mindful of your homework and GPA. Graduation from high school, though
desirable, is not enough. Consider the military, vocation or trade schools (tech center is a
great start), community college, or a 4-year university.
Calling all Volunteers – We have a new process for volunteering with the school. You may
now apply online at wenatcheelearns.com.
Career Cruising & Job Shadowing - If you are interested in signing up or learning more
about using Career Cruising and Job Shadowing, please see Mrs. Foxx, now located in the
Main Office.
Get to Know Your Counselors - Take the opportunity to meet your counselors. They are
there to assist you. Students with the last name that begins with A – C your counselor is Sara
McManus, D- H is Will White, I – M is Tonya Luinstra, N - Sa is Doug Taylor, and Sb - Z is
Mary Howie.
Now Hiring!! The Gear-Up needs more staff for after school programs at Orchard, Pioneer,
Columbia and Mission View. Please see the WSD web site for details.

Pride -
A special shout-out to one of our biggest Seahawks fan: Mr. Iniguez.
We appreciate all his talents and assistance with our students – he is
quick on his feet with catching problems and executing a solution. Thank
you Mr. Iniguez for being our 12th Man!
Our dance, cheer, and sports teams competed at the dance
competition at the Fall Sports Kick Off – especially impressive was Franny Nevill’s floatation
device and the Football Team’s dance moves.
“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams.
Live the life you have imagined.”
