Analyzed data from the Fragile Families and Child Wellbeing Study—a longitudinal, nationally-representative sample of urban births that occurred between 1998 and 2000 in 20 large U.S. cities—to investigate parenting practices and children’s outcomes across diverse family forms. Synthesized large amounts of previous literature to develop new research questions and solve analytic problems. Employed innovative statistical models to address research questions, such as factor analysis, latent growth curve models, latent class models, and quasi-experimental methods. Goldberg, p. 2 Prepared graphical and tabular representations of research findings for diverse audiences of academic researchers, family practitioners, and social workers. Sole- or lead-author for multiple peer-reviewed manuscripts, including two published in leading journals, two under review, and two in progress. Presented papers at national conferences, such as the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management, the Population Association of America, the American Sociological Association, and the Society for Research on Child Development. Analyzed data from earlier waves of the WLS to investigate the impact of work and family trajectories on individuals’ financial wellbeing at older ages.
