United Way Women’s Leadership Council
Mobilizing the Power of Women to
Achieve Community Impact
This year United Way of Muscatine is founding
a Women’s Leadership Council. The Women’s
Leadership Council (WLC) is an educated,
informed and dedicated group of volunteer
women working to inspire other women in
Muscatine to make a difference by Giving,
Advocating and Volunteering. WLC will ignite
the power of women to make a positive
impact on education, specifically the issues
of Kindergarten preparedness and students
having the skills to be successful post high
school graduation.
We invite you to join us. Through WLC you will
be connected with year-round engagement
opportunities focused on our signature issue.
Membership is as easy as checking the
Women’s Leadership Council box in the
Leadership Giving section of your pledge form.
For more information on how your WLC pledge
will be used to impact our community visit:

The Pearl City Leadership Society is designed
to encourage and recognize individuals in our
community who make gifts of $1,000 or more
annually to United Way. Leadership gifts are a
powerful demonstration of commitment to the
community. By contributing to United Way, you
are joining with others across the community to
strengthen the building blocks of a good quality
of life – Education, Income and Health. Working
together, people with passion and commitment,
are leading the way to a brighter tomorrow.
It takes a whole community
working together to reach our
mutual goals. We all win when a
child succeeds in school, when
families have good health and
workers have solid jobs.
