HAWAII STATE PITA CHAMPIONSHIP

To the 2015 Hawaii State PITA Championship which will be held at the Hilo Trap &
Skeet Range, 13-16 February, 2015. The 2015 match will be sponsored by the Big Island
Trap Club (BITC) with support from PITA-Hawaii. The match will be 800 registered
targets starting on Friday, 13 February with 200 targets per/day through Monday, 16
February. All targets can be cross registered with the ATA. The official program will
mailed out in September, 2014 to each shooter pre-registered for the 2015 shoot &
competitor that attended the 2014 Hawaii PITA State Championship.
The range will open for shooter registration & squadding at 08:00 on 13 Feb. followed by
a 100 singles and 100 handicap events. On 14 Feb. will be 50 pair of doubles and another
100 handicap competition. On 15 Feb. will be the Hawaii State, 200 singles
championship match followed the next day, 16 Feb. by the Hawaii State doubles &
handicap match. The Hawaii PITA Championship will be limited to the first 65
competitors to lock in their registration with a $100.00 deposit. The additional match
fees will be collected at the time of registration on 13 Feb.2015. A Talk Story potluck
will be held again this year at Wailoa Park on Friday evening and a banquet/ award
ceremony will be at the Nani Mau Garden Restaurant on Sunday evening. Z-Sports will

THE BIG ISLAND TRAP CLUB IS OFFERING A STERLING SILVER WITH
14K GOLD TRIM 100 STRAIGHT HANDICAP BUCKLE & A SMALLER 99
STRAIGHT BUCKLE OF THE SAME DESIGN AND QUAILITY.

To take home a one of a kind trophy, pay a $25.00 entry fee and shoot a 99 or 100
straight in the 2015 Hawaii State, PITA Handicap Championship Match.

All entry fees must be paid prior to the start of the State Handicap Championship
Match.

Shooters in this event must be a current member of the PITA or ATA and meet
the minimum target requirement in establishing yardage.

If a 100 straight is posted, the 99 straight buckle cannot be claimed by the same
shooter and the buckle will stay in play.

If a tie score is posted there will be a sudden death shoot-off for that particular
buckle to establish the winner. The first shooter to miss a target loses; shooters do
not need to shoot together (if yardage rules apply). Score sheets may be compared
should shooters miss the same first target, standard shoot-off rules will then apply
as the “straight” shall be considered broken. If the tie is at 100 straight, the loser
will not be able to claim the 99 buckle.
