Ms. Woan Wui Lim
(Nurse Clinician, KTPH Trauma Coordinator)
Graduated in 1992 from School of Nursing. Completed Advanced Diploma in Critical Care Nursing
from NYP in 1995. Attained Master of Nursing (Trauma) from University of Western Sydney (Nepean)
in 2000. Worked in a surgical-urology ward, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Burns Unit, A&E, Department
of Clinical Governance as well as Hyperbaric and Diving Medicine Centre. In between, undergone
one year trauma nursing training at a level 1 trauma centre in Sydney, Australia - Westmead Hospital.
Thereafter, joined KTPH in 2011 as a trauma coordinator till date.
Ms. Sok Keng Tan
(Nurse Clinician, KTPH A&E)
Ms Tan currently works as a Nurse Clinician in the Acute and Emergency Care Centre of KTPH. She
graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic in 1996 and obtained her Advance Diploma in Emergency
nursing in 2001. Ms Tan obtained her Bachelor in Nursing from the University of Sydney in 2006.She
has more than 16 years of working experiences in the Emergency Department and presently the
instructor for Basic cardiac Life support, Advance Trauma Nursing Care (ATCN) and life support
course for nurses. She is also member of the Hospital Trauma committee .
Ms. Laura Tham
(Nurse Clinician, KTPH A&E)
Ms Tham currently works as a Nurse Clinician in the Acute and Emergency Care Centre of KTPH.
She graduated from School of Nursing in 1994 and obtained her Advance Diploma in Emergency
Nursing in 1997. Ms Tham obtained her Bachelor in Nursing from the University of Sydney in 2001
and Level IV Paramedic Course in 2009 from Justice Institute of British Columbia, Canada. Prior to
joining KTPH, Ms Tham worked in Changi General Hospital A&E, Singapore Armed Forces and
Institute of Technical Education.
Ms. Pek Lin Sin
(Senior Nurse Clinician, KTPH Perioperatiove)
Ms. Sin works as the Senior Nurse Clinician in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. She received her Bachelor
of Health Science (Nursing) from the University of Sydney in 2004 and has been working in the
operating Theatres since graduated as a State Registered nurse from Singapore General Hospital in
1973. Subsequently, in 1976 Ms. Sin obtained her Operating Theatre Nursing Certificate with
distinction in Practical Theatre Nursing. Armed with bags of experiences in clinical, management and
education, Ms. Sin has mentored and supervised many nurses in the operating theatre ensuring the
best clinical and service quality is delivered. Presently, she serves as Advisor to MOT UBQI
committee involving clinical and quality safety. Ms. Sin is responsible for the In-service education of
the department rendering continuing and training to nurses and allied health professional. In KTPH,
she was responsible for setting up the Neuro surgical and ENT specialties in 2010.
Ms. Angelica M. Abella
(Nurse Clinician, KTPH Perioperative)
Ms. Angelica works as Nurse Clinician in Major Operating Theater at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. She
received her Degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arellano University, Philippines in 1990.
In 2010, Ms. Angelica obtained her Advanced Diploma in Peri-Operative Nursing at Nanyang
Polytechnic. Over the past one and one-half decades, she has worked as Operating Theatre Nurse in
both the public and the private sectors in Singapore. In 2010, Ms. Angelica together with SNC Sin is
responsible in setting up the Neuro surgical and ENT specialties. Presently, Ms. Angelica is in-charge
of the Neuro Surgical and ENT Specialties in Major Operating Theatre. She guides and supervises
the nurses in delivering high quality of patient care in KTPH. Ms. Angelica is also an active member of
Nursing Quality Initiative and Trauma Committee.
Mr. Chit Ming Yeo
(Section Head, Paramedic & Emergency Care, Institute of Technical Education)
Mr Yeo is currently the Section Head for the Higher Nitec in Paramedic & Emergency Care course in
Institute of Technical Education (ITE), where he manages the training standards and course
development. Prior to joining ITE, he was a paramedic in Singapore Civil Defence Force assuming
various portfolios in training, operations and logistics. Completed his Advanced Life Support
Paramedic Course in Canada, he has been involved in paramedical training in both Singapore Civil
Defence Force and Singapore Armed Forces since 2000 and one of his key interests is improving
local paramedical training.
Ms. Ratnasari Yawieriin (Senior Staff Nurse, KTPH A&E)
Ms Ratna currently works as a Senior Staff nurse in the Acute & Emergency Care Centre of
KTPH.Graduated in 2005 with Diploma in Nursing (Accelerated) from Nanyang Polytechnic. She has
9 years of experience in Neurosurgical Unit and Emergency Department. Ms Ratna has Bachelor in
Nursing from La trobe University and Advanced Diploma in Emergency Nursing.
