INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
The product referred to in this reference guide is used for patient positioning
in radiation therapy.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
The LB-SBRT system is designed to index directly onto various treatment
couches using standard indexing positions and standard indexing bars for
locations outside of the treatment beam and CDR Carbon Fiber indexing
bars for locations inside the treatment beam.
Patient position is optimized by adjusting Foot and knee modules on
treatment couch then indexed in this position using the indexing location
of each module.
#3 positioning showing

Setup position and modules used can be noted on Sim setup sheet for the
LB-SBRT system.
Secure with CFJ02 Clamp
After the device is setup and indexed in the desired position place a
clean sheet over the device and the modules, this ensures a clean
device from patient to patient.
DO NOT use with only the indexing pins locked
into the #3 position of the Module attachment
area, Apply the CFJ02 Clamp to secure the AU-#
in place.
Place a clean sheet over the device and the
modules, this ensures a clean device from
patient to patient.
MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
The LB-SBRT system is manufactured form Carbon Fiber and epoxy resin
with a low density foam core. The modules are manufactured from PU
foam with Vinyl coating. This combination results in a rigid radio
translucent patient setup system with multiple patient setup options.
STORAGE
Always store the product in a safe place to prevent it from getting damaged.
Store flat with top or patient side facing up or on wall using CDR Systems
wall mount for the LB-SBRT system. This will ensure damage does not occur
to the clamping system or the positioning dowels. Do not put heavy objects
on the base or modules and prevent hard objects from falling onto it,
because these can cause permanent deformations.

GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
The product referred to in this reference
guide is used for patient positioning in
radiation therapy.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
The AU-3 Arms up Module is designed to
interface and locate onto the carbon fiber
base. Once the base is indexed in desired
location on the treatment couch, locate the
indexing pins onto the Module attachment
area. The correct position is the number
three position this is the only position
that the AU-3 will fit and lock into the
base correctly. Once the pins are initially
set apply firm pressure in the superior
direction (toward the handles) a small
click may be felt. Insure both sides are
engaged. The AU-3 is now initially locked,

expose this cushion to a hot air blower and make
sure that no sharp objects can come into contact
with it. It is good practice to rotate the Simulator

system will tend to see more use.
GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
The product referred to in these instructions
is used for patient positioning in radiation
therapy.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
The KN1-WDG-I indexable knee/leg positioning
module is engineered to be used stand alone
or in combination with the Freedom LB-SBRT
immobilization system.
The KN1-WDG-I is positioned onto the couch
with a standard indexing bar. Always verify that
the base is indexed correctly onto the couch.
PLEASE NOTE: Avoid using the KN1-WDG-I unindexed on the treatment couch as the tendency
is to push and pull on it to adjust the patient
position, in doing so your fingernails or other
sharp objects can tear the vinyl coating and it
