Associate Members enjoy all the privileges of Active Members, except the rights to vote at general meetings and to be elected to, or hold office on, the Governing Council. At the discretion of the Governing Council, Associate members may be appointed to any standing committee, working party or similar representative body. Membership Categories  Affiliate Member : ◦ Any active industry association involved in HPC industry will be eligible as Affiliate Member. Affiliate Member will enjoy all the privileges of Active Members, except the rights to vote at general meetings and to be elected to, or hold office on, the Governing Council.  Affiliate Association Member : ◦ Any Association which is engaged in representing the Soap, Detergents, Cosmetics, Toiletries , Fragrances, Packing Industries are eligible to be an Affiliate Association Member. The Affiliate Association Member will not hold office and will not have a right to vote.  Foreign Member : ◦ Any corporation, partnership or other type of business entity which is engaged in business of manufacturing, processing, packaging, marketing or servicing of the Home & Personal care Industry including Soaps, Detergents, Cosmetics, Toiletries & affiliated, associated Industries but which does not have a plant or facilities in India in which such activity or activities ◦ Foreign Members will enjoy all the privileges of Active Members, except the rights: To hold office, or to serve on the Governing Council , to serve as the Chairman or a Vice Chairman of the Association's standing general committees, or the right to vote Membership Categories  Honorary Member: ◦ Any individual who has rendered distinguished service to the Association or to the industry may be elected to Life Membership provided that the individual has at least one of the following: Reached the age of 50 years, retired from the Industry and held office in the Association for a period of at least 5 years or for such other period as may be specified by the Governing Council. ◦ Life Members will enjoy all the privileges of Active Members, except the rights to vote at general meetings and to be elected to, or hold office on, the Governing Council. At the discretion of the Governing Council, Life Members may be appointed to any standing committee, working party or similar representative body.
