Message
Dr. Mahendra Sharma (I/c) Director,
Ganpat University
The entire world of management is changing. Today’s
management graduate needs to think global and act local,
lead by example, be a great team player yet independentminded, a creative thinker who can analyse and act on
data, a strategist, a tactician, a communicator and a born
networker all-in-one! Management graduates have to be
capable of applying both ‘left’ and ‘right’ brain thinking.
They need to have a wider understanding of the needs of
business and develop the necessary skills to drive forward
the management agenda in alignment with the organization’s
broader vision.
Since inception, the Centre’s curriculum has given students
the tools they need to succeed by providing education that
is based on relevant knowledge and rewarding partnerships.
Our Master of Business Administration programs accomplish
this by continually evaluating and striving to meet the needs
of the industry and society it serves. A rigorous curriculum
allows graduates from any discipline to develop the skills
and knowledge most appropriate to their own career paths.
The Centre has taken measures to ensure quality in every
possible area: curriculum, faculty, industry interface,
research, infrastructure facilities and other activities.
The sole purpose is to achieve total quality standards for
education with a philosophy of continuous improvements.
Realizing that the teaching-learning process to yield positive
results needs quality input, the Centre invites CAT/MAT/
CMAT/XAT – 2014 applicants and is conducting its own
Entrance Test GNU-MAT (Ganpat University - Management
Admission Test) to attract and identify best talent for its
2-year full-time industry focused MBA programs.
This Admission Prospectus contains useful information for
applicants and the Admission Committee assures fair and
transparent process.

Learning through Projects
Effective learning support is a real asset
to a B-school and a powerful aspect of
MBA educational experience. Students are
given regular short-term projects in the
form of operational work-outs to learn the
application of classroom learning in real
life. At CMS, faculty members ensure that
students select their SIP company and
mega research project area with utmost
care so that this learning can be leveraged
by them at the time of final placement.
Summer Internship Program (SIP):
The main objective of SIP is to help
students to broaden their horizon and give
them better understanding of corporate
world. It is oriented towards exposing
students to all the aspects of industry
by enabling them to put their newly
acquired theoretical knowledge and skills
into practice in real world. Students are
required to undertake a 60 day project
during semester break between the second
and third semester, at the end of which
they have to submit a detailed project
report.
Renowned corporate like Zydus Cadila,
Intas, Cipla, IFFCO, GCCI, GSFC, Axis Bank,
HDFC Bank, Kalptaru Power Transmission
Ltd., etc. have been giving constant
support to GNU-CMS by enrolling students
for internship.
Mega research project:
In the second year, students have to
take up a mega project in the area of
specialization, which carries crucial credits
in the grading system. Students come up
with critical findings on the topic at the end
of the research and a detailed report on
the same is formulated and submitted to
the faculty for feedback and evaluation.
This interface has been extremely beneficial
to students for hands-on expertise and
they are able to develop knowledge,
competencies and experience directly
related to their career goal.
Remarkable SIP Reports
During Summer Internship, few students
showed their outstanding concert with their
conceptual knowledge and practical skills at
the company.

MBA

discolouration in one of the products and
suggested changes in the formulation
process and content after careful analysis.

solve this long-standing problem. She
received special commendation from the
company for her significant work.

Organics Pvt. Ltd. emerged winner
