Summer Internship Program (SIP): The main objective of SIP is to help students to broaden their horizon and give them better understanding of corporate world. It is oriented towards exposing students to all the aspects of industry by enabling them to put their newly acquired theoretical knowledge and skills into practice in real world. Students are required to undertake a 60 day project during semester break between the second and third semester, at the end of which they have to submit a detailed project report. Mega research project: In the second year, students have to take up a mega project in the area of specialization, which carries crucial credits in the grading system. Remarkable SIP Reports During Summer Internship, few students showed their outstanding concert with their conceptual knowledge and practical skills at the company. Ms. Mohini Patel, from MBA (Pharmaceuticals) during her SIP at ICON Pharmaceuticals Ltd, studied the discolouration in one of the products and suggested changes in the formulation process and content after careful analysis. Her suggestions helped the company to solve this long-standing problem. She received special commendation from the company for her significant work. Mr. Mitesh Dave from MBA (Agribusiness) during his Summer Project at Saanvi Organics Pvt. Ltd. emerged winner of a market research competition on “Awareness of Organic products in Ahmedabad” among all the SIP candidates from various colleges.
