Walk in interview will be held on 19.07.2014 at 11.00 AM in the chamber of the Dean, P.G. Studies, BCKV for
engagement of 2 (two) Sr. Research Fellow for the project entitled “Residue study of Avtar & sprint in Maize &
Onion” sponsored by M/s Indofil Industries Limited under Dr. Hemanta Banerjee, P.I. of the project & Professor,
AINP on Pesticide Residues , Directorate of Research of Kalyani, BCKV, Kalyani, Nadia for a period upto June
30, 2016 with a value of Fellowship @ Rs.10,000/- p.m. with the following qualification: M.Sc.(Ag.) in Agricultural
chemicals/Ag. Chem & Soil Science or M.Sc. (Hort) specialised in Spices and Plantation crops with sound
knowledge in the field of Agrochemicals/Pesticides Residues analysis /Field exposure and knowledge in cultivation
practice of agronomic and horticultural crops securing at least 2.75 OGPA in 4.00 scale or 6.75 OGPA in 10.00 scale
or at least 60% marks in aggregate under traditional system of examination followed by good bachelors degree in
Horticulture/ Agriculture.
b) Walk in interview will be held on 19.07.2014 at 11.30 AM in the chamber of the Dean, P.G. Studies, BCKV for
engagement of 2 (two) Sr. Res. Fellow for the project entitled “Multilocational Supervised Field Trial of
Thiacloprid 240 SC and Propineb 70 WP on Tea and Onion” sponsored by M/S.Bayer Crop Science under Dr.
Hemanta Banerjee, P.I. of the Project and Professor, AINP on Pesticide Residues, Directorate of Research, BCKV,
Kalyani, Nadia, for a further period upto 31st March, 2015 or the actual date of termination of the project whichever
is earlier with a value of Fellowship @ Rs.15,000/- p.m.(consolidated) with the following qualifications:
M.Sc.(Ag.) in Ag. Chemicals /Agril. Biochemistry with sound knowledge in the field of Agrochemicals /Pesticide
Residue analysis /Field exposure and knowledge in cultivation practice of agronomic and horticultural crops
securing at least 60% marks or above in aggregate or OGPA 2.75 in 4.00 or OGPA 6.75 in 10.00 scale. The B.Sc.
(Ag) Hons. Candidate will be given first preference.

engagement of 2 (two) Sr. Res. Fellow for the project entitled “Dow Agrosciences-Plant Pathology” sponsored by
M/S.Dow AgroSciences India Pvt. Ltd, Kolkata under Dr. Srikanta Das, P.I. of the Project and Professor of Plant
Pathology, Faculty of Agriculture, BCKV Mohanpur, Nadia for a period of 5 (five) years only or the actual date of
termination of the project whichever is earlier with a value of Fellowship @ Rs.10,000/- p.m.(fixed) with the
following qualifications: M.Sc.(Ag.) in Plant Pathology/M.Sc. in Botany specialization in Mycology and plant
pathology securing at least 60% marks or above in aggregate followed by good Bachelor’s degree or OGPA 2.75 in
4.00 or OGPA 6.75 in 10.00 scale. Candidate with M.Sc. (Ag) degree will be given preference.

engagement of 1 (one) Sr. Res. Fellow for the project entitled “Bioefficacy and phytotoxicity of Coromandel
fungicides : Rice, Chilli, Tomato and Grape” sponsored by M/S.Coromandel International Ltd, Secunderabad,
A.P, under Dr. Partha Sarathi Nath, P.I of the Project and Professor, Dept of Plant Pathology, Faculty of
Agriculture, BCKV Mohanpur, Nadia for a period of 1 (one) year only or the actual date of termination of the
project whichever is earlier with a value of Fellowship @ Rs.8,000/- p.m.(fixed) with the following qualifications:
M.Sc.(Ag.) in Plant Pathology/M.Sc. in Botany specialization in Mycology and Plant Pathology securing at least 60%
marks or above in aggregate followed by good Bachelor’s degree or OGPA 2.75 in 4.00 or OGPA 6.75 in 10.00

of the Project , Directorate of Research, BCKV, Kalyani, Nadia for a period upto 31.3.2018 or the actual date of
termination of the project whichever is earlier with a value of Fellowship @ Rs.18,400/- p.m. including HRA with
the following qualifications: M.Sc. in Agricultural Meteorology/Meteorology/Environmental Science/Physics
securing at least 60% marks or above in aggregate followed by good Bachelor’s degree or OGPA 2.75 in 4.00 or

engagement of 1 (one) Jr. Res. Fellow for the project entitled “Development of National Data Base on Mango”
sponsored by DBT, Ministry of Sc & Tech, Govt of India uunder Dr. B. Ghosh, P.I. of the Project and Professor,
Deptt. of Fruits and Orchard Management, F/Hort., BCKV, Mohanpur, Nadia for a period of 2 (two) years only or
the actual date of termination of the project whichever is earlier with a value of Fellowship @ Rs.16,000/- + 20%
HRA p.m. with the following qualifications: M.Sc.(Hort.) in Fruits and Orchard Management/Fruit
Science/Pomology/M.Sc.(Ag) in Horticultural with specialization in fruit Science securing at least 60% marks or

Ltd. & (2) Performance of XDE-848 & XDE-729 on transplanted, direct seeded paddy mixture and wheat

P.I. of the Project and Professor in Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, BCKV Mohanpur, Nadia for a period of one
(1) year or the actual date of termination of the projects whichever is earlier (may be extended depending the
performance of the project with the approval of the funding Agency) with a value of Fellowship @ Rs.10,000/p.m.(fixed) for each of the project with the following qualifications: M.Sc.(Ag.) in Soil Science/ M.Sc. in

engagement of 2 (two) Sr. Res. Fellow (Agronomy) for the project entitled “Studies on bio-efficacy and
phytotoxicity of different formulations of 2,4-D” sponsored by M/S. Mahamaya Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi
under Dr. C.K.Kundu, P.I. of the Project, Directorate of Research, BCKV, Kalyani, Nadia, for a period upto 31st
July, 2015 or the actual date of termination of the project whichever is earlier with a value of Fellowship @
Rs.9,000/- p.m. for the 1st yr. & @ Rs. 10,000/- p.m. for 2nd & 3rd year with the following qualifications: M.Sc.(Ag.)

by M/S. P.I. Industries Pvt. Ltd., under Dr. S.K.Mandal, P.I. of the Project & Professor, Deptt. of Ag. Entomology,
F/Ag. for a period 1 (One) year or the actual date of termination of the project whichever is earlier with a value of
Fellowship @ Rs.8,000/- p.m. year with the following qualifications: M.Sc.(Ag.) in Ag. Entomology/ Plant
Protection specialisation in Entomology/ M.Sc. Zooloy specialisation in Entomology securing at least 60% marks or
above in aggregate or OGPA 2.75 in 4.00 or OGPA 6.75 in 10.00 scale followed by a good bachelor’s degree.
Prference will be given to the candidates having B.Sc.(Ag.) Hons. Degree.
