Hosted by Pestalozzi Zurich, 5 December 2014 Free of charge Event description Cross-examination in international arbitration is a highly practical topic for young arbitration practitioners who have to be accustomed to the use of cross-examination even if they come from jurisdictions where cross-examination is unknown in state court litigation. This event will bring together leading authorities and young practitioners with different legal and cultural backgrounds to discuss how cross-examination is used in international arbitrations seated in the jurisdictions they practice in and to see whether standardized procedures have been developed or whether significantly different blends of cross-examination exist. The seminar will be an ideal forum for young practitioners to exchange thoughts on international arbitration, and to enrich their network in the region. After the conference, participants are invited to a reception at a nearby bar or club to continue discussions and to network. The place will be named at the event.
