value for the customer.
Ohyoung Electronics Co., Ltd. is a capacitor manufacturing
company which continuously efforts to research and develop a new
technology for various electronic device's film capacitor, including
general purpose electronic device capacitor and currently is
emerging as a Mecca for capacitors.
We acquired lots of certification from domestic and abroad
authorities as a result of ceaseless efforts to improve product
quality(e.g., UL, C/UL, VDE, KSC 4805), as well as ISO 9001
which is one of international standards and ISO 14001 for environment management system. Also we were
evaluated as a company that sells good products from major companies in domestic and abroad countries,
such as U.S., Mexico and India etc.. And with this in mind, we will do our best in R&D so that not to
fail the expectations of our customers by seeking ways to adopt and innovate ourselves in continuously
changing environment.

YMR type capacitors are the highest quality impregnated
metalizes polyester/ Polypropylene film capacitors intended
to fill needs miniaturized, high quality AC capacitors up tp
and including 450 volt range.
Their low cost and high quality are achieved through the
application of metallized paper capacitor techniques to these
impregnated metallized polyester film capacitors.
plus the standardization and full control of the automated
manufactuning process from the winding to the testing of the

In certain instances capacitor failurea may result in
case rupture due to gases generated internally.
Even if rupture does occur, the probability of fire
is still low as the right conditions of temperature and
source of ignition(i. e. an electrical are)must be present.
In order to reduce the possibility of capacitors
rupture the OHYOUNG ELECTRONICS Co.,Ltd. now
incorpoates an internal protection machanism into
capaacitors where the construction and application
conditions allow.
The listings of each family of capacitors indicate if internal protection is included or not.
The protective machanism is the Pressure Sensitive Interrupter.
It senses the build-up of pressure within the capacitor and interrupts the internal connections taking the
capacitor out of the circuit before rupture can occur, as shown in Figure.
The fault current is the maximum current that circuit can provide if the capacitor becomes a short circuit.
