THE ITS FAMILY LANDS IN TRIESTE. THE LUCID DREAMS OF A BOUNDLESS GENERATION AT ITS 2014. International Talent Support, the creative platform conceived and developed by the EVE agency, launches the new edition, ITS 2014, presented by OTB (Diesel, Maison Martin Margiela, Marni, Viktor&Rolf, Staff International), with main partners DIESEL, YKK, SWATCH and SWAROVSKI. On 11 and 12 July Trieste will host the final event of the international contest of fashion, accessories, artwork and jewerly design centered around the scouting of talent and the support to young creatives all over the world. THE 2014 EDITION Through the dream, a realm that still today engages scientific research with constantly new challenges, we express our daily lives, our unconscious fears, inner changes and desires. ITS 2014 will take you to the realm of LUCID DREAMS, “halfway between dream and consciousness. Be prepared: you will learn to fly, challenge your fears and get in touch with your inner self. Just be careful not to wake up.” The lucid dream of ITS will be shared with the directors and representatives of prestigious schools, fashion insiders and leading journalists from numerous countries, bloggers and other important guests from the social networks. The four competition areas, ITS FASHION, ITS ACCESSORIES, ITS ARTWORK and ITS JEWELRY, will present to a jury composed of fashion, costume history and art experts and show business personalities 40 projects, 10 for each area, that will compete for the valuable prizes at stake and for the career opportunities that the contest has provided through the years to the over 500 total finalists, many of which today occupy leading positions at fashion, accessories and jewerly brands worldwide, while others have successfully launched their own labels. ITS 2014 offers a prize pool amounting to almost € 100,000 and a wide range of job opportunities. ITS 2014 welcomes the new partnership with Samsung Electronics and the collaborations with SHOWstudio and Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana. Supporting young talents and encouraging them to create what enhances people’s lives is the reason why International Talent Support has partnered with Samsung Electronics, a leading technology brand with its pursuit of technological innovation and lifestyle enrichment. Ten finalists have been selected from ITS FASHION, ITS ACCESSORIES and ITS JEWELRY to present two proposals of a prototype to protect and carry the new Samsung GALAXY Tab S. The Italian Fashion Council is a new sponsor of ITS 2014 and will be very glad to offer the Camera Nazionale della Moda Award, a prize of € 2,500 for the winner + a 6-month internship at Trussardi. SHOWstudio.com, the award-winning fashion website founded and directed by Nick Knight, will award the chosen fashion designer with the opportunity to create a SHOWstudio fashion film. The featured garments will be made available for sale in the SHOWstudio Shop. One finalist either of ITS FASHION or of ITS ACCESSORIES will receive the Eyes on Talents Award, amounting to € 3,000 plus featured profile communication to all Eyes on Talents subscribing brands. MASTER OF CEREMONY ITS 2014 will have a brand new host, the multi-awarded actress Anita Kravos, originally from the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, and star of THE GREAT BEAUTY by Paolo Sorrentino, the film that won the Oscar® for Best Foreign Language Film this year. The winning project will receive the: •Samsung GALAXY Award, € 10,000.
