TOURCERT IN LATEINAMERIKA
TourCert hat ein internationals Coaching- und
Zertifizierungssystem entwickelt, das die
gesamte Wertschöpfungskette mit Blick auf
Nachhaltigkeit durchdringt.
Zur Ausweitung ihrer Idee hat die gemeinnützige Beratungs- und Zertifizierungsgesellschaft TourCert
die Austrian Development Agency (ADA) als Förderer gewinnen können. Ziel des 2015 gemeinsam
gestarteten Pilotprojekts TourCert Latina ist es, das in Europa bereits bekannte TourCert System nach
Lateinamerika zu bringen – im ersten Schritt nach Peru und Ecuador. Mit großem Erfolg: bis heute
konnten 54 Reiseunternehmen mit dem TourCert Siegel oder dem Einstiegssystem TourCert Check
ausgezeichnet werden. Zudem wurde das Projekt 2016 mit dem „Oskar des nachhaltigen Tourismus‘“
– der EcoTrophea des Deutschen Reiseverbandes – prämiert.

TourCert has developed an international
coaching and certification system along the
entire touristic chain in a sustainable way.
TOURCERT IN LATIN AMERICA
To spread the idea, the consulting and certification organisation TourCert was able to win the support
of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA). The objective of the joint pilot project TourCert Latina,
started in 2015, is to transfer the TourCert system – which is already well-known in Europe – to Latin
America, in a first step to Peru and Ecuador. With major success: Up to now, 54 travel and tourism
companies have been certified with the TourCert label or the entry-level system TourCert Check.
Furthermore, the project was awarded with the ”Oscar of sustainable tourism“ – the EcoTrophea of the
German Travel Association (DRV) in 2016.
