Drinking liquor had been
indispensable to humans
throughout history. Particularly,
wine as an indulgence in
Ancient West Asia could be the
oldest among the world. This
brief presentation shows an archeological
study on origin and development of wine.
Through vessels probably intended for wine
drinking and/or preserving, the speaker
outlines the chronological sequence of
production and distribution of ancient wine
related to urbanization in the West Asian
region.
