Election of Members to the Institute Councils on 05 January 2017
01 - 15 Nov 2016 Electoral registers
The electoral registers will be displayed from 01 to 15 Nov 2016 between 9:00 – 15:00 h in the
Faculty Administrations of Faculties I - VII. Objections to the electoral register(s) can be filed
in writing at the display areas or in the Administrative Office of the CEC, no later than
15 Nov 2016, 15:00 h.
On election day 05 January 2017, the polling stations
are open between 10:00 and 15:00 h at the following locations

15 Nov 2016 Nominations
Nominations for candidates for the various bodies must be submitted separately according to
Voters who cannot participate in the ballot box election on 05 January 2017 have the option of
requesting a postal ballot. Application forms can be obtained from the Administrative Office of
the CEC, Room H 2507 (Electoral Office, or downloaded from the Election Committee directly
via Quick Access 21744 or at http://www.tu-berlin.de/asv/menue/wahlamt/wahlamt_service/.
Postal voting documents will be sent to the applicant at the address he/she provides. Postal ballots
must be received by the CEC no later than 05 Jan 2017, 15:00 h.

Voters should see the overview provided opposite for the responsible local polling stations.

Ballots must be cast on the election days at the responsible polling stations of the Faculty
(constituency). Please see the official Notice of Elections of 11 Oct 2016 for further information
regarding election procedures and eligibility. This document is available at the Administrative
Office, from the CEC's website (Quick Access 21744), or on display in the showcase next to the
CEC (Main Building-Old Section, mezzanine, west wing)
