このコースはまるごと初級2 A2 モジュール１が
おわった人、または、そのレベルの人*のための
コースです。クラスでは日本のことばと文化を
勉強します。日本語でいろいろなアクティビティを
します。

Maximum of 16 students
1. Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate
relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography,
employment).
2. Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information
on familiar and routine matters.
3. Describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters
in areas of immediate need clearly.
* Those who have NOT taken the “Marugoto A2 (Elementary 2) Module 1” course
are required to take a Placement Test / Interview, with schedule options from 2:30 p.m. to
5:00 p.m. on either January 9 (Monday) or January 10(Tuesday). (Subject to availability)
The Japan Foundation has been developing course books to embody the
JF Standard for Japanese‐Language Education and to use them for
Japanese language courses in JF overseas centers. ‘MARUGOTO:
Japanese language and Culture A1’, the first book of the series, was
published in May 2011.
Aiming at Japanese‐language for mutual understanding, ‘Marugoto’ is
designed for learning not only the Japanese language but Japanese
culture as well. Grammar and writing of Japanese character will not be
the main focus of the course.
