CARTRONIC MOTORSPORTS ENGINEERING developed a sequential shift console which fits in all Porsche 996
and Boxsters which have a 6-speed gearbox. This very unique system combine the best of both worlds – durability of construction and lightness of weight. The console is easy to install by replacing the original H-System console against the Sequential-shift-console. Modified shift-cables are necessary also. Pulling the shift lever for
enganging the next higher gear and pushing it for gear-down. A digital dashboard display indicates the current
enganged gear. The conversion takes approx. 2 hours in time.
This very neat system is shown on 2002 German Motor Show in Essen.
