Economic Forum Albania:
Prpspectives for Investors and Trade

On 9th November 2016 the Commission of the European Union presented the progress report
2016 on the development of Albania as an EU-candidate for accession. The Commission recommends its member states to start accession negotiations with Albania. What are the requirements and prospectives for politics and the economy? - This is the question addressed by the
Albania Forum, to which the German-Albanian Economic Association together with the Embassy
of the Republic of Albania in Berlin invites to an economic forum on the occasion of the Albanian
national day. The Forum will be held on Monday, 28th November 2016, at Deutsche Bank AG,
Unter den Linden 13-15, 10117 Berlin, from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm, with the possibility of deepening the discussions afterwards.
The DAW has succeeded fortunately in winning as a high-ranking representative of the Albanian
Government Ms. Milva Ekonomi, Minister for Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Albanian Government, and Mr. Knut Fleckenstein, Member of the European Parliament and rapporteur for the European Parliament on Albania. In addition, well-known
investors in Albania will participate as well as provide first-hand information on their experiences
and recommendations. The political and economic reforms for the modernization of Albania and
for the promotion of its EU-integration are also the main focus.
We would like to invite you to participate in the forum. The program is added. The event will be
held in English. Participation is free, but requires registration. We kindly ask you to send this to
the DAW by 24th November 2016, accompanied by e-mail at [email protected]. We are
looking forward to your participation. If further information is need in advance we’ll be at your
disposal.
