WHO encourages countries to act now to reduce deaths from viral
hepatitis
Ahead of World Hepatitis Day, 28 July, WHO urges countries to take rapid action to improve
knowledge about the disease, and to increase access to testing and treatment services.
Today, only 1 in 20 people with viral hepatitis know they have it. And just 1 in 100 with the
disease is being treated.
WHO はウイルス性肝炎死の削減への即時行動を督励
7 月 28 日の世界肝炎デーを前に、WHO は各国に対し、疾病に関する知識向上と検査治療
サービスへのアクセス向上に早急な行動を起こすことを促す。今日、ウイルス性肝炎患
者の 20 人に 1 人しか自分がそうであることを知らないでいる。そして、患者 100 人に
1 人しか治療を受けていない。
