Our Company
Established in 2003 by Mr. Peter Meyer who
looks back at many years of experience in the
B2B export and trading business. The company
is now second-generation familiy owned after
his daughter Kerstin and son-in-law René have
joined m.e.c. in early 2014. Both Kerstin and
René came from a business background and
brought several years of experience with them
as well.
Products and Services are technical equipment and spare parts for the marine industry,
power plants, oil and gas fields, the cement
industry and construction vehicles. Some clients appoint us as their purchasing agent to
optimise inventory management costs. We are
able to identify and locate hard-to-find-items
and deliver general sourcing.
We also supply high quality hospital und laboratory equipment. We are also aible to provide
individual solutions for solar plants.
Merging with DESTEC (established 1998) took
effect on January 1st in 2013 to consolidate
both companies for a stronger positioning in
the market and to benefit from synergies of
similar activities. Consequently, m.e.c. is the
legal successor of all contracts, assets and obligations and staff members of both companies
continued working for m.e.c.
Additional Activities include complete compressor stations for cement conveying, spare
parts packages for railway engines or fire fighting pump systems and even a horizontal boring machine and second hand wheel loaders.
Our customers range from trading companies
and ship owners to industrial enterprises and
the Navy. We perform business in the Middle
East, Southeast Asia and Europe.
