Scientific Researcher
Salary is according to the Job description and fulfillment of personal requirements up to the German Salary
Scale 13 TV-L (http://oeffentlicher-dienst.info/tv-l/)
Specifications:
Earned degree equivalent to the first and second German “Staatsexam” for English Subjects and PhD Degree
in Didactics of English, English as Foreign Language or similar fields.

Experience in School Teaching, preferably at Primary level

Experience in undergraduate Teaching at University level

Evidence of capacity to work independently in the wider spectrum of University research tasks
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

To teach English Didactic courses in our Undergraduate Primary Teaching Program

To plan and conduct research in the fields of teaching and learning at different levels with specific
emphasis on Inclusion in Primary schools and CLIL/bilingual social and Science integrated teaching

To develop a CLIL Program in the preparation courses for our primary teacher students (specifically for
Social and Science integrated studies in two Languages)

To active participate in the area of “Interdisciplinary Didactic” at primary level

To plan and conduct written and oral exams as well as guiding undergraduates in their School Practicum

To collaborate in University administrative tasks
