Energy Corse: solid reasons to shine in 2015
The 2015 karting season has just started and the Energy drivers have already made their mark in
the international competitions. Technical and human innovations abound early this year, but the
qualities of Michele Panigada's team that have propelled it to the top for over 10 years are the
foundation for the continued success of the Italian brand at the highest level.
Recently homologated, the 2015 Energy chassis is again well-designed to enable drivers to take
top billing and to continue to add to the prestigious list of results. The hard work of the entire team,
whose professionalism is widely recognized, its undeniable technical expertise, combined with a
human framework and careful oversight, ensure the enviable position of Energy Corse among the
greatest teams in international karting.
"As with every start of the season, the drivers need to assimilate the new parameters of
competition," says Michele Panigada. "The 2015 line-up has no shortage of new blood as in
addition to newcomers, in KF we have drivers who have taken the plunge from KF-Junior. I also
want to say that our collaboration with the young Petr Ptacek has been very positive. Various
reasons, such as leaving the Lotus F1 Junior Team, explained his change of direction, but the deal
has always been excellent between the two parties."
Juan Correa and Rokas Baciuska have performed very well at the wheels of their Energy-TMs for
their debut in KF. Bacisuka focused on achieving a promising 5th place in the final of the WSK
Champions Cup at La Conca, while Correa finished eighth in the championship. The American
finished the Winter Cup at Lonato in 7th, while the Lithuanian recovered strongly close to the top
10. The potential is there for his talents, which are just waiting to be confirmed in future
competitions.
In KF-Junior, the Spaniard David Vidales has already showed interesting progress by finishing 7th
in the WSK Gold Cup and 6th in the WSK Super Master Series at Adria, while the Dane Frederik
Vesti had been prominent earlier at La Conca. The Slovak Dominik Goldschmied is learning the
fundamentals of the category quickly and should soon join his teammates in the top rankings.
Hope also comes from the youngest drivers with good scores achieved in 60 Mini from Mattia
Michelotto and Mattia Muller who took a double victory at Adria in the WSK Super Master Series,
as well as Francesco Crescente, who was 4th in the Winter Cup in Mini Rok.
Energy chassis are also very competitive in other categories, as evidenced by the excellent 3rd
place finish in DD2 for Oriol Dalmau, an Energy Spain driver, at the Rotax Winter Cup at Campillos
and in the triumph for Christian Brooks - NASH Motorsportz - in the SKUSA California Prokart
Challenge at Willow Kart where he won both heats and the final in TaG Senior.
Everything looks very good for Energy Corse in 2015. The team will expand further for the
important events that are coming soon: WSK Super Master Series and the CIK-FIA European
Championship. Innovations are certain throughout the season, such as the new KF front brakes,
which are lighter and more efficient, recently tested by Correa at Adria.

La stagione di karting 2015 è appena cominciata e i piloti Energy hanno già iniziato a raccogliere
successi nelle competizioni internazionali. Le novità tecniche e umane non mancano in questo
inizio anno, ma le qualità del team di Michele Panigada che portano i piloti Energy ai vertici da più
di 10 anni restano il fondamento del successo continuo del marchio italiano ai maggiori livelli.
I telai Energy 2015, recentemente omologati, sono ancora una volta ben concepiti per portare i loro
piloti ai vertici, nel segno della continuità di un palmarès prestigioso. Il lavoro costante di tutto il
team, la cui professionalità è unanimemente riconosciuta, il suo innegabile know-how tecnico
insieme a spiccate doti umane e a una presentazione generale tra le più curate, assicurano la
posizione invidiabile di Energy Corse tra i più grandi team del karting internazionale.
“Come ogni inizio stagione, i piloti hanno bisogno di assimilare i nuovi parametri della
competizione”, spiega Michele Panigada. “La formazione 2015 non manca di nuova linfa perché
oltre ai nuovi arrivati, i nostri piloti KF hanno appena varcato la soglia della nuova categoria
provenienti dalla KF-Junior. Voglio anche sottolineare che la nostra collaborazione con il giovane
Petr Ptacek è stata molto positiva. Varie sono le ragioni, tra cui la sua partenza dal Lotus F1 Junior
Team, che spiegano il suo cambio dʼorientamento, ma lʼintesa tra le due parti è sempre stata
eccellente”.
Juan Correa e Rokas Baciuska hanno già fatto registrare delle belle performance al volante dei
loro Energy-TM per i loro grandi esordi nella KF. Baciuska ha ottenuto un promettente 5° posto
nella finale WSK Champions Cup a La Conca, mentre Correa ha terminato allʼ8° posto in
campionato. Lʼamericano ha concluso la Winter Cup di Lonato al 7° posto, mentre il lituano ha fatto
una bella rimonta arrivando non lontano dai primi 10. Il potenziale è quindi per questi talenti che
chiedono solo di riconfermarsi nelle competizioni future.
Nella KF-Junior lo spagnolo David Vidales ha già mostrato una progressione interessante
terminando 7° in occasione della WSK Gold-Cup, poi 6° nella WSK Super Master Series ad Adria,
mentre il danese Frederik Vesti si era distinto prima a La Conca. Lo slovacco Dominik
Goldschmied è nel posto giusto per apprendere rapidamente i fondamentali della categoria e
raggiungere i suoi compagni di squadra nelle parti alte della classifica.
La speranza arriva anche dai giovanissimi grazie ai buoni risultati ottenuti nella 60 Mini da Mattia
Michelotto e da Mattia Muller autori di una doppietta vittoriosa ad Adria nella WSK Super Master,
ma anche grazie a Francesco Crescente 4° nella Winter Cup Mini Rok.
I telai Energy sono anche molto competitivi nelle altre categorie, come testimoniano lʼeccellente 3°
posto finale nella DD2 di Oriol Dalmau, pilota Energy Spain, durante la Rotax Winter Cup di
Campillos, e lo spettacolo offerto da Christian Brooks - NASH Motorsportz - nel California Prokart
Challenge della SKUSA a Willow Kart vincendo le due manche e la finale TaG Senior.
I presupposti sono quindi positivi per Energy Corse nel 2015. Il team si consoliderà ancora di più in
previsione delle prove importanti che si annunciano: WSK Super Master Series e Campionato
europeo CIK-FIA. Le innovazioni non mancheranno nel corso della stagione, come i nuovi freni
anteriori KF, più leggeri e più efficaci, recentemente testati da Correa ad Adria.

marques dans les compétitions internationales. Les nouveautés techniques et humaines ne
manquent pas en ce début d'année, mais les qualités de l'équipe de Michele Panigada qui ont
propulsé les pilotes Energy jusqu'aux sommets depuis plus de 10 ans restent le fondement de la
réussite continue de la marque italienne au plus haut niveau.
Récemment homologués, les châssis Energy 2015 sont encore une fois bien-nés pour amener
leurs pilotes en haut de l'affiche dans la continuité d'un palmarès prestigieux. Le travail acharné de
toute l'équipe dont le professionnalisme est unanimement reconnu, son savoir-faire technique
indéniable, alliés à un encadrement humain poussé et à une présentation générale des plus
soignées, assurent la position enviable d'Energy Corse parmi les plus grands teams du karting
international.
« Comme à chaque début de saison, les pilotes ont besoin d'intégrer les nouveaux paramètres de
la compétition. » explique Michele Panigada. « La formation 2015 ne manque pas de sang neuf
puisqu'en plus des nouveaux venus, nos pilotes KF viennent de franchir le pas depuis la KFJunior. Je tiens également à préciser que notre collaboration avec le jeune Petr Ptacek a été très
positive. Différentes raisons, dont son départ du Lotus F1 Junior Team, expliquent son
changement d'orientation, mais l'entente est toujours restée excellente entre les deux parties. »
Juan Correa et Rokas Baciuska ont déjà enregistré de belles performances au volant de leurs
Energy-TM pour leurs grands débuts en KF. Bacisuka a notamment obtenu une prometteuse 5e
place en finale de la WSK Champions Cup à La Conca, tandis que Correa terminait 8e du
championnat. L'Américain a conclu la Winter Cup de Lonato au 7e rang, tandis que le Lituanien
remontait fort non loin du top 10. Le potentiel est bien là pour ses talents qui ne demandent qu'à
confirmer dans les compétitions à venir.
En KF-Junior, l'Espagnol David Vidales a déjà montré une progression intéressante en terminant
7e lors de la WSK Gold Cup, puis 6e de la WSK Super Master Series à Adria, tandis que le Danois
Frederik Vesti s'était illustré auparavant à La Conca. Le Slovaque Dominik Goldschmied est à
bonne école pour intégrer rapidement les fondamentaux de la catégorie et rejoindre ses équipiers
dans le haut des classements.
L'espoir vient aussi des très jeunes avec les bons scores réalisés en 60 Mini par Mattia Michelotto
et Mattia Muller auteurs d'un doublé victorieux à Adria en WSK Super Master, mais aussi grâce à
Francesco Crescente, 4e de la Winter Cup Mini Rok.
Les châssis Energy sont également très compétitifs dans d'autres catégories, comme en
témoignent l'excellente 3e place finale en DD2 d'Oriol Dalmau, pilote Energy Spain, lors de la
Rotax Winter Cup de Campillos et le festival réalisé par Christian Brooks - NASH Motorsportz dans le California Prokart Challenge de la SKUSA à Willow Kart en remportant les deux manches
et la finale TaG Senior.
Tout se présente donc bien pour Energy Corse en 2015. L'équipe va encore s'étoffer à l'approche
des épreuves importantes qui s'annoncent prochainement : WSK Super Master Series et
Championnat d'Europe CIK-FIA. Les innovations ne manqueront pas au long de la saison, à l'instar
des nouveaux freins avant KF, plus légers et plus efficaces, récemment testés par Correa à Adria.
