Title: Real time modeling research response to Middle East
respiratory syndrome in the Republic of Korea
Abstract: An outbreak of Middle East respiratory
syndrome (MERS) occurred in Korea from May to July,
2015. Our research team responded to the outbreak in
mathematical modeling research real time. Analyzing
empirically observed datasets from Korea, the
transmissibility and severity of MERS were characterized.
