日本語を約 350 時間学習した学生で中級中期の文型、言葉、漢字の勉強をし、
授業中の練習で、四つの力（読む、書く、聞く、話す）を総合的につけます。
Prerequisite JLPT N4 または初級日本語を約 350 時間学習していること。Students
should have passes JLPT N4 or completed around 350 hour beginning
Japanese classes,

Goals
中級中期の語彙と漢字を勉強します。授業中と授業外でも積極的に日本語を
使うことによって日本語能力を伸ばします。文化交流活動や日本人と積極的
に接することによって日本語と日本文化・習慣の理解を深めます。
To review some late-beginning level grammar items, such as causative,
causative-passive, and honorific expressions.
To learn early intermediate words and expressions.
To improve conversation skills and deepen your understanding of
Japanese culture by interacting with Japanese people through outside of
class activities.

Final course grades will be based on the results of:
Participation 60% Mid Term test 10% Final Test 10% Final speech 20%
A: 100-90% B:89 – 80% C:79-70% D:69-60% F: Below 59%
Notes
In the case of absences, as general policy, NO make-up work will be given
without a valid, documented excuse.
