注意喚起（訪日査証申請にかかる詐欺事案の発生）

在スリランカ日本国大使館
今般，訪日旅行にかかる査証申請の代行業者を語る人物が，大使館の偽造レターを
使い申請人を信用させ，スリランカ人より大金を搾取する事案が発生した旨報告を受
けました。
査証申請にあたっては，当大使館ホームページの内容を再確認するとともに，不明
な点があれば大使館へ直接お問い合わせください。
なお，事件に巻き込まれた場合には，最寄りの警察にご相談ください。

The Embassy of Japan has received information that certain suspects
impersonating staff of the Japanese Embassy cheated unsuspecting visa
applicants of their money, using forged Embassy’s letters.
Visa applicants are kindly requested to check and read our website when
applying for Japanese visas, and if there are any questions, call the Embassy for
further inquiry.
If you become a victim of such fraud, please report to the nearest police station
for an appropriate action.
