Tag 1 Stadtführung Gent und Grachtenfahrt inkl. 1 Glas Sekt
Sie erreichen Gent am Nachmittag. Während einer Führung sehen
Sie die schönsten Plätze der Stadt wie Graslei, Burg Gravensteen, Patersholviertel, Belfried, Sint-Baafskathedrale und den Vrijdagmarkt. Danach können Sie bei einer Grachtenfahrt mit einem Glas

Tag 2 Stadtführung in Brügge und Grachtenfahrt
Den heutigen Tag verbringen Sie in Brügge, das zu den schönsten
historischen Städten Europas zählt. Zunächst werden Sie im Rahmen einer Stadtführung über die Geschichte dieser einst mächtigen Handelsstadt informiert, bevor Sie während einer Grachtenfahrt diese prächtige Stadt aus einem ganz anderen Blickwinkel

kaufen oder ein Bier auf dem Grote Markt zu trinken.
Tag 3 Ypern, Hopfenbäuerin und Brauereibesichtigung
Tagesfahrt durch Westflandern. Yepern wurde nach der völligen Zerstörung im I. Weltkrieg komplett wieder aufgebaut und beherbergt
in der malerischen mittelalterlichen Tuchhalle das sehr sehenswerte
Museum In Flanders Fields. Nach der Mittagspause besuchen Sie die
singende Hopfenbäuerin in Poperinge und genießend dort ein lokales Hommelbier. Auf der Rückfahrt zum Hotel können Sie in einer
kleinen Privatbrauerei noch ein sehr leckeres Spezialbier kosten.
Tag 4 Brüssel und Antwerpen
Tagesfahrt in die Landeshauptstadt Brüssel und die Hafen- und
Diamantenmetropole Antwerpen. Bei einer Stadtrundfahrt durch
Brüssel sehen Sie das Atomium, das Expogelände, das königliche
Schloss und den Jubelpark, bevor Sie zu Fuß zum Grand Place und
zum Manneken Pis gehen. Nach der Mittagspause fahren Sie nach
Antwerpen, wo Sie zu einer Stadtführung durch die Altstadt erwartet werden. Sie sehen die Kathedrale und die Zunfthäuser am Grote
Markt, den Groenplaats und den historischen Vlaeykensgang.
Tag 5 Heimreise
Day 1 City tour of Ghent, canal tour incl. 1 glass of sparkling wine
You will reach Ghent in the afternoon. A guided tour leads you to the
most beautiful places of the city like Graslei, Gravensteen castle, the
Patershol district, Belfried, Saint Bavo Cathedral and Vrijdagmarkt.
In the course of the following canal ride you can enjoy the unique
atmosphere from the water side and a glass of sparkling wine.
Day 2 City tour of Bruges and canal tour
You will spend this day in Bruges – one of Europe’s most beautiful
historical cities. First a city tour will inform you about the history of
this formerly mighty trading town before you enjoy this splendid city
from another point of view in the course of a canal ride. In the afternoon can buy some souvenirs or enjoy a beer at the Grote Markt.
Day 3 Ypres, hop-farmer’s wife and brewery tour
Daylong trip through West Flanders. The city of Ypres has been rebuilt after its complete destruction in the course of World War I and
now the picturesque medieval cloth hall hosts the very remarkable
museum In Flanders Fields. After a lunch break you visit the singing
hop-farmer’s wife in Poperinge and enjoy the Hommelbeer. On
your way back to the hotel you can taste a delicious special beer in
a small private brewery.
Day 4 Brussels and Antwerp
Daylong trip to Brussels the capital of Belgium and the harbour and
diamond metropolis Antwerp. In the morning a city tour by bus will
show you Brussels. You get to see the Atomium, Brussels EXPO, the
Royal Castle and the Parque du Cinquantenaire and finally walk to
the Grand Place and Manneken Pis. After a lunch break you will go
to Antwerp and experience this city in the course of a city tour. Your
guide will show you the cathedral and the guild-houses at the Grote
Markt, the Groenplaats and the historical Vlaeykensgang.

Day 1 Brussels Sightseeing Tour and Dinner at the Hotel
On a sightseeing tour through Brussels, you get an impression
of the capital‘s many attractions: Laeken Palace, the World Fair
exhibtion grounds and Atomium, Avenue Louise and Palace of
Justice, Sablon and Marolle Quarters, Royal Palace and Old Town
with the Grand Place and Manneken Pis. A 3-course dinner is
served at the hotel.
Tag 2 Blumenteppich auf dem Grand Place
Der Grand Place wird alle 2 Jahre in einen riesigen Blumenteppich
verwandelt. Auf ca. 1800 qm fügen belgische Gartenspezialisten
etwa 800.000 Begonien zu einem prächtigen Gemälde zusammen.
Bestaunen Sie von reservierten Plätzen auf dem Gruppenbalkon
das überwältigende Blumenmeer. Nachmittags besteht die Gelegenheit, das Zuhause der belgischen Königsfamilie zu besuchen.
Besichtigen Sie im geöffneten Königspalast die prunkvollen Säle,
Salons und Kunstgegenstände. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit verdienen die Gemäldesammlung und der Spiegelsaal, dessen Decke mit
mehr als einer Million Skarabäenpanzer bedeckt wurde.
Day 2 Flower Carpet on the Grand Place
Every two years, the Grand Place is transformed into a giant
flower carpet. On an area of about 1800 sqm, Belgian garden specialists combine around 800.00 begonias into a splendid canvas.
Marvel at the mind-boggling ocean of flowers from your reserved
seats on the group balcony. In the afternoon, you will have the
chance to visit the home of the Royal Family. Take a look at the
grandiose halls, parlours and art objects at the Royal Palace. The
collection of paintings and the mirror hall are especially noteworthy, the latter‘s ceiling being covered in more than a million
scarab shells.

Vor der Heimreise sollten Sie noch einen der sonntäglichen
Flohmärkte in den Antiquitätenvierteln besuchen, wahre Fund-

Day 2 Brussels Sightseeing Tour and Chocolate Factory
Today, you will embark on a day trip to the Belgian capital
of Brussels. A sightseeing tour will lead you to the World Fair
exhibition grounds and the Atomium, where you can stop for
photos. Afterward, you will pass Laeken Palace, the Avenue Louise
and Palace of Justice, the Salbon and Marolle Quarters, and the
Royal Palace. You will visit the Grand Place on foot and say bonjour
to Manneken Pis. After lunch, why not have a hot chocolate and
some treats during a visit to the chocolate factory!
Tag 3 Hafenrundfahrt in Antwerpen und Bierprobe bei De Koninck

Tag 4 Stadtführung in Mechelen, Heimreise
Morgens statten Sie Mechelen einen Besuch ab. Mechelen war früher
die Hauptstadt der burgundischen Niederlande, hier verbrachte Karl
V. seine Kindheit. Während einer Stadtführung sehen die prächtige
Kathedrale, den gemütlichen Grote Markt mit dem Rathaus und den
Jachthafen an der Dijle. Anschließend treten Sie die Heimreise an.

Koninck Brewery where you get to learn all about beer production.
The visit concludes with a beer tasting, complete with a typical

Day 4 Mechelen Guided Tour, departure
In the morning, you will pay a visit to the town of Mechelen. Karl
V. spent his childhood in this former capital of the Burgundian
Netherlands. A sightseeing tour leads past the magnificent
cathedral, the homely Grote Markt square and city hall as well as
the yacht harbour by Dijle river. Afterward you will embark on your

Tag 1 Stadtführung Antwerpen

Tag 2 Stadtrundfahrt Brüssel und Chocolatier
Heute steht eine Tagesfahrt in die Landeshauptstadt Brüssel auf
dem Programm. Während einer Stadtrundfahrt sehen Sie zunächst
das Expogelände und das Atomium, wo Sie zu einem Fotostopp
halten. Anschließend fahren Sie vorbei am Schloss Laeken, dem
Quartier Louise mit dem Justizpalast, dem Sablon- und Marollenviertel und dem Königspalast. Sie gehen zu Fuß zum Grand Place
und sagen dem Manneken Pis Bonjour. Nach der Mittagspause
erhalten Sie bei der Besichtigung einer Chocolaterie eine Tasse
heiße Schokolade und mehrere Pralinenproben.
Tag 3 Brügge und Gent mit Bootsfahrt
Während eines Ganztagesausfluges besichtigen Sie mit einem
Reiseleiter die berühmten Kunststädte Brügge und Gent. Während
einer Stadtführung in Brügge gewinnen Sie einen Eindruck von
dieser herrlichen mittelalterlichen Stadt mit ihren malerischen
Grachten. Ein Höhepunkt ist sicher der Belfried auf dem Grote
Markt. Nach der Mittagspause fahren Sie zum nächsten Highlight,
der lebendigen Universitätsstadt Gent. Gent war früher Sitz der
Grafen von Flandern, die alte Wasserburg Gravensteen sehen Sie
während einer Stadtführung ebenso wie den Vrijdagmarkt und die
St. Baafskathedrale. Während einer anschließenden Grachtenfahrt
können Sie ein Glas Sekt genießen und das herrliche Panorama

Sablon- and Marollen district and the Royal Palace. You walk to the

Day 3 Bruges and Ghent including boat trip
In the course of a guided daylong trip you see the famous art cities
Bruges and Ghent. A city tour of Bruges will give you an impression of this splendid medieval city with its picturesque canals. The
Belfried on the Grote Markt is definitely one of the highlights. After
a lunch break you will go on to the next highlight, the vivid university town Ghent, former residence of the counts of Flanders. A city
tour will lead you to Gravensteen castle, an old moated castle, and
of course also to Vrijdagmarkt and Saint Bavo Cathedral. Enjoy a
glass of sparkling wine and see the wonderful panorama of this
city from the waterside in the course of a canal tour.
Day 4 Leuven (including brewery) and Mechelen
Today a visit of Leuven and Mechelen is scheduled. In Leuven there
is Belgium’s biggest university and one of the most beautiful town
halls. A city tour will also lead you to the Beguinages and brewery
Domus where a beer tasting is scheduled. In the afternoon you
will visit the city of Mechelen, former capital of the Burgundian
Netherlands where Karl V. spent his childhood. See the splendid

Day 5 Genever museum Hasselt
On your return journey one last item is scheduled at Hasselt, the
capital of the province of Limburg. You will learn everything about
the production of genever and taste it in the course of a visit to the
Genever museum.

Day 1 Bruges Sightseeing Tour - Dinner in Ghent
Your first stop will be in Bruges. You can experience the wealth
of the city in the middle ages on a walk through the streets while
passing the impressive belfry, guild houses and picturesque town
canals. A walk through the Court Beguinages takes you back to the
bus and on to Ghent, where a 3-course meal incl. 1 beer is waiting
for you at a restaurant by Graslei harbour.
Day 2 Ghent Sightseeing Tour, Lunch, Boat Trip with Sparkling Wine
Today’s trip takes you to Ghent. The town offers an incredibly
beautiful mixture of past and modernity. City centre takes
you past the fully preserved Gravensteen Castle - the former
residence of the Duke of Flanders - the lovely atmophere of Graslei
harbour, and cozy yet lively spots like the Vrijdag market. The
grand sightseeing tour takes you to Saint Bavo Cathedral and
lets you admire the facade of Gravensteen Castle. Lunch will be
served Belgian-style: french fries with frikandel! Enjoy the lovely
panorama of guild houses by Graslei harbour on a boat trip along
the Leie river in the afternoon. Welcome aboard, how about a glass
of sparkling wine? Afterward you can make individual dinner plans
for one of the manifold homely restaurants in Ghent. A reservation
is strongly recommended for larger groups.
Day 3 Departure
Following the breakfast buffet, you will have the opportunity
to visit the flea market by St. Jacobsplein square. Here you find
rummage as well as rarities. With a bit of luck and skill, you will be
on your way home with a bargain on your hands.

Tag 1 Gent
Anreise nach Gent. Im Rahmen einer Stadtführung sehen Sie die
schönsten Plätze dieser Stadt wie die Graslei, die Burg Gravensteen, das Paterhol-Viertel, den Belfried, die Sint-Baafskathedrale
und den Vrijdagmarkt. Im Anschluss an die Stadtführung sind Sie
zu einer Bierprobe in der Stadtbrauerei Gruut eingeladen.
Tag 2 Brügge
Den heutigen Tag verbringen Sie in Brügge, das zu den schönsten
historischen Städten Europas gezählt wird. Zunächst werden Sie
im Rahmen einer Stadtführung durch das historische Zentrum über
die Geschichte dieser einst mächtigen Handelsstadt informiert.
Anschließend werden Sie im Klöppelzentrum von Brügge zu einer
Besichtigung erwartet. Nachmittags haben Sie Zeit, um Brügge in
eigener Regie zu erkunden. Wir empfehlen Ihnen eine Bootsfahrt
auf den Grachten oder den Besuch eines der sehenswerten
Museen. Am späten Nachmittag fahren Sie nach Gent zurück.
Tag 3 Westflandern
Mit einem Reiseleiter unternehmen Sie eine ganztägige Fahrt durch
die Provinz Westflandern. Sie sehen historische Städte wie Ypern und
den deutschen Soldatenfriedhof in Langemark. Während der Fahrt
erfahren Sie, welche Auswirkungen der erste Weltkrieg auf Flandern
hatte. Im Laufe des Tages besuchen Sie eine kleine lokale Brauerei und
können dort die Erzeugnisse einheimischer Braukunst genießen.
Tag 4 West- und Ostflandern
Heute fahren Sie mit ihrem Reiseleiter zunächst nach Kortrijk. Bei einer
Stadtführung sehen Sie die schönsten Plätze der Stadt und hören von
der ruhmreichen Schlacht der Sporen aus dem Jahr 1302. Nachmittags
fahren Sie durch die Dörfer entlang der Leie und besichtigen das
Künstlerdorf Sint Martens-Latem. Zum Abschluss werden Sie in einer
bekannten Jeneverdestillerie zu einer Kostprobe erwartet.
Tag 5 Antwerpen und Heimreise
Stadtführung durch die historische Altstadt von Antwerpen, Heimreise.
Day 1 Ghent
Journey to Ghent. In the course of a city tour you will see the
most beautiful places of this city like Graslei, Gravensteen Castle,
Patershol district, Belfried, Saint Bavo Cathedral and Vrijdagmarkt.
The city tour is followed by a beer tasting at the town brewery
Gruut.
Day 2 Bruges
You will spend this day in Bruges, considered as one of Europe’s
most beautiful historical cities. First you are informed about the
history of this former powerful trading city in the course of a
city tour, followed by a visit of the Bruges bobbin center. In the
afternoon you have the opportunity to explore Bruges on your own
account. We recommend a boat tour on the canals or the visit of
one of the remarkable museums. In the late afternoon return to
Ghent.
Tag 3 West Flanders
Together with a guide you will go on a daylong trip across the
province of West Flanders. You will see historical cities like Ypres
and the German war cemetery at Langemark and get to know
about the impact of World War I on Flanders. You also visit a
small local brewery and enjoy the products of the regional art of
brewing.
Tag 4 West and East Flanders
Today your guide will first take you to Kortrijk. In the course of a
city tour you will see the most beautiful places of this city and get
to know about the glorious Battle of the Gulden Spors in 1302. In
the afternoon you pass through villages along the Leye and visit
Sint Martens-Latem, a village of artists. At the end of this day a
tasting in a renowned jenever distillery is scheduled.
Tag 5 Antwerp and return journey
Enjoy the historical old town of Antwerp in the course of a city tour
before you start you return journey.

Tag 1 Stadtführung Mechelen

zugänglich sind. Die monumentalen Pavillons mit ihren Glaskuppeln
und weitläufigen Galerien werden Sie mit einer Vielzahl von seltenen
und sehr wertvollen Pflanzen begeistern. Anschließend lernen Sie
Brüssel im Rahmen einer Stadtrundfahrt kennen. Sie sehen das
Atomium, das Expogelände, das königliche Schloss und den Jubelpark, bevor Sie zu Fuß zum Grand Place und zum Manneken Pis gehen.
Tag 4 Antwerpen und Heimreise
Morgens werden Sie in der Hafenstadt und Diamantenmetropole
Antwerpen zu einer Führung durch die Altstadt erwartet. Sie sehen
die Kathedrale und die Zunfthäuser am Grote Markt, den Groenplaats
und den historischen Vlaeykensgang. Anschließend treten sie die
Heimreise an.

First, you will visit the royal greenhouses of Laeken, which have
been open to the public for 3 weeks each spring for the past 100
years. The monumental pavilions with their glass domes and widerange galeries will enchant you with a variety of rare and valuable
plants. Afterward you will get to know Brussels during a sightseeing
tour. You will see the Atomium, World Fair exhibition grounds, Royal
Palace and Jubilee Park, before you continue on foot to the Grand
Place and Manneken Pis.
Day 4 Antwerp and Departure
In the morning, we invite you on a tour of Antwerp Old Town. You
will see the cathedral and guild houses at Grote Markt square,
Groenplaats square as well as the historical Vlaeykensgang.
Afterward you will embark on your journey home.

After you checked in your hotel in the city center of Bruges the
guide will take you on a city tour of this picturesque city. See the
Beguinage, the Grote Markt and Belfried and feel as if you have
stepped back into Middle Ages. In the evening you take part in a
medieval banquet to honor the wedding of Charles the Bold and
Margarete of York. Enjoy a 4 course menu served with as much
beer and wine as you like. During the dinner you will experience a
drama with court-jesters, singers, sword fighters, fire-eaters and
falconers.
Day 2 Canal tour and free time
Begin your day with a rich breakfast buffet. Next a boat trip on
the picturesque canals of the city is scheduled. You can spend the
rest of the day on your own account. Take the opportunity to buy

you visit a museum or enjoy a cup of coffee or a Belgium beer at the

Tag 1 Brügge
Im Rahmen einer Stadtführung tauchen Sie ein in die Geschichte
dieser mittelalterlichen Stadt. Sie sehen die malerischen Grachten,
den bekannten Belfried am Grote Markt und Beginenhof.
Anschließend fahren Sie zum Hotel in Roeselare.
Tag 2 Vladslo, Ypern und Westvleteren
Heute steht eine Reise durch die Geschichte Westflanderns
auf dem Programm. Zuerst besuchen Sie den deutschen
Soldatenfriedhof in Vladslo, auf dem ca. 25000 deutsche Gefallene
des Ersten Weltkriegs bestattet sind. Hier befindet sich auch die
Skulptur „Trauerndes Ehepaar“ von Käthe Kollwitz. Anschließend
fahren Sie nach Ypern, das nach der vollständigen Zerstörung im
Ersten Weltkrieg komplett wieder aufgebaut wurde. Sie sehen
die Tuchhalle, in der sich das Rathaus und das sehr sehenswerte
Museum „In Flanders Fields“ befindet und das Menentor, in dem
jeden Abend ein großer Zapfenstreich zu Ehren der Gefallenen
des Ersten Weltkriegs gehalten wird. Auf dem Rückweg nach
Roeselare machen Sie noch eine Pause am Café De Vrede in
Westvleteren. Hier können Sie das herrliche Trappistenbier
probieren (von den gleichnamigen Mönchen hergestellt), das
weltweit als eines der besten Biere anerkannt ist.
Tag 3 St. Omer, Boulogne-sur-Mer, Cap Blanc Nez und Bergues
Zusammen mit einem Reiseleiter unternehmen Sie eine Fahrt
durch die Region Nord-Pas-de-Calais in Nordfrankreich. Sie sehen
die Kathedrale von St. Omer und fahren weiter zum malerischen
Boulogne-sur-Mer. Während eines Stadtbummels sehen Sie
sowohl die Oberstadt mit der Befestigungsanlage und dem
Schlossmuseum als auch die Unterstadt mit dem Fischerei- und
Jachthafen. Auf dem Weg nach Bergues besuchen Sie das Cap
Blanc Nez an der Küste. Von diesem 134m hohen Kalkfelsen
haben Sie bei gutem Wetter einen Blick bis zur englischen Küste.
Anschließend fahren Sie weiter nach Bergues, bekannt durch die
Dreharbeiten zum Film „Willkommen bei den Sch´tis“. Der Belfried
der Stadt gehört zum Weltkulturerbe.
Tag 4 Lille und das westflämische Hügelland
Die ehemals flämische Stadt Lille ist die Hauptstadt der Region
Nord-Pas-de-Calais und bekannt als wirtschaftliches und
kulturelles Zentrum der Region. Während einer Stadtführung
sehen Sie prächtige Monumente, Plätze und Fassaden.
Anschließend haben Sie Zeit zu einem gemütlichen Stadtbummel
bevor Sie durch das malerische flämische Hügelland und über
den Kemmelberg, den höchsten Berg Flanderns, nach Poperinge
fahren. Dort werden Sie von der singenden Hopfenbäuerin zu

Day 1 Bruges
In the course of a city tour you dip into the history of this medieval
city. See the picturesque canals, the renowned Belfried at the
Grote Markt and the Beguinage. Subsequently you go to your hotel
in Roeselare.
Day 2 Vladslo, Ypres and Westvleteren
Today a journey through the history of West Flanders is scheduled.
It starts with a visit of the German war cemetery in Vladslo where
about 25000 German dead soldiers of World War I are buried. You
will also find the sculpture “The Grieving Parents” made by Käthe
Kollwitz there. Subsequently you go to Ypres, a city which has been
completely rebuilt after its total destruction during World War I.
See the cloth hall which today hosts the town hall and the well
worth seeing museum „In Flanders Fields“ and also the Menin gate
where every evening a big curfew to honor the dead soldiers of
World War I is taking place. On your way back to Roeselare a stop
at Café De Vrede in Westvleteren is scheduled where you can enjoy
the excellent Trappist beer (made by the correspondent monks)
which is worldwide recognized as one of the best beers.
Tag 3 St. Omer, Boulogne-Sur-Mer, Cap Blanc Nez and Bergues
Together with a guide you will go on a journey across the northern
French region of Nord-Pas-de-Calais. See the Cathedral of St. Omer
and continue the journey to picturesque Boulogne-Sur-Mer. In the
course of a stroll through this city you will see the upper town with
the fortification and the clock museum as well as down town with
the fishery- and yacht harbor. On your way to Bergues you will
visit Cap Blanc Nez. If the weather is fine you can see the English
coast from this 134 meters high lime rock situated at the coast.
After this stop your journey continues to Bergues, renowned by
the shootings for the movie “Welcome to the Sch´tis“. The city‘s
Belfried belongs to the world cultural heritage.
Day 4 Lille and the west Flemish Heuvelland
The former Flemish city of Lille is the capital of the region NordPas-de-Calais and renowned as its commercial and cultural center.
In the course of a city tour you will see splendid monuments, town
squares and façades. Afterwards you have the opportunity for a
leisurely stroll across the city before you are going to Poperinge
by driving through the picturesque Flemish hill county and over
Flanders’s highest hill, mount Kemmel. Enjoy coffee and hop cake
at the singing hop farmer’s wife.

sees the presentation of the effects of the war on people of
all ages from all nations involved in the war as memorial for
a peaceful coexistence. It is located in the rebuilt cloth hall
of Ypres, an important symbol of suffering of war and destruction and the following reconstruction and restart.

Tag 1 Mechelen
In Mechelen erwartet Sie ein Reiseleiter zu einer Stadtführung
durch die frühere Hauptstadt der burgundischen Niederlande.
Sie sehen die schönsten Plätze der Stadt wie den Fischmarkt, den
Grote Markt und den Beginenhof. Die Kathedrale, das Rathaus und
vor allem der Palast der Margarete von York und der Margarete von
Österreich zeugen vom früheren Reichtum der Stadt.
Tag 2 Halbtagesausflug in die Umgebung von Mechelen
Heute fahren Sie zunächst nach Lier. Während der Stadtführung
zeigt Ihnen der Reiseleiter Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die St.
Gummaruskirche, das Rathaus mit Belfried, den Grote Markt,
den Beginenhof und den bekannten Zimmerturm mit seiner
astronomischen Uhr. Von Lier fahren Sie nach Sint-KatelijneWaver, den Ort, in dem die Versuchsanstalt für Gemüseanbau
untergebracht ist und in dem regelmäßig Gemüseauktionen
stattfinden. Sie besichtigen den überwältigenden Wintergarten
des Ursulinenklosters und sind hier zu Kaffee und Kuchen
eingeladen. Der Nachmittag steht Ihnen in Mechelen zur freien
Verfügung.
Tag 3 Der „Grüne Gürtel“ mit Schloss Gaasbeek und dem Nationalen botanischen Garten
Morgens fahren Sie zum südwestlich von Brüssel gelegenen
Schloss Gaasbeek. Das Schloss stammt aus dem 13. JH und
entwickelte sich von einer mittelalterlichen Burg zu einem
reizenden Landgut. Im Schloss werden Sie zu einer Führung
erwartet. Anschließend besichtigen Sie den Rosengarten von
Coloma, bevor Sie sich bei einer Brauereibesichtigung mit
Kostproben etwas erholen können. Zum Abschluss des Tages
besichtigen Sie den nationalen Botanischen Garten in Meise.
Tag 4 Stadtrundfahrt Brüssel und Heimreise
Vor Ihrer Heimreise sehen Sie im Rahmen einer Stadtrundfahrt das
Atomium, das Expogelände, das königliche Schloss und den Jubelpark, bevor Sie zu Fuß zum Grand Place und zum Manneken Pis gehen.

Day 1 Mechelen
Your guide will take you on a city tour of the former capital of the
Burgundian Netherlands. See the most beautiful places of this
city like Vismarkt, Grote Markt and the Beguinage. The Cathedral,
the town hall and especially the Palace of Margaret of York and
Margaret of Austria are evidence of the former richness of this city.
Day 2 Half-day trip into the surrounding of Mechelen
First you are going to Lier where your guide will show the sights
like St. Gummarus church, the town hall and Belfried, Grote
Markt, the Beguinage and the renowned Zimmertower with
its astronomical clock in the course of a city tour. Your journey
goes on to Sint-Katelijne-Waver, where the research institute for
vegetable gardening is hosted and vegetable auctions are regularly
taking place. Visit the overwhelming winter garden of the Ursulines
monastery and enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of cake. The
afternoon is at your free disposal in Mechelen.
Day 3 The “Green belt” including Gaasbeek castle and the
National Botanical Garden
In the morning you are going to Gaasbeek castle situated southwest of Brussels. This castle goes back to the 13th century and
developed from a medieval castle to a charming estate. After a
guided visit of the castle you go on the rose garden of Coloma
followed by a brewery visit including tasting. The day ends with the
visit of the National Botanical Garden in Meise.
Day 4 City tour of Brussels and return journey
You will see the Brussels EXPO and Atomium, the Royal Castle and
Parque du Cinquantenaire before you walk to the Grand Place and
Manneken Pis. After this city tour you start your return journey.

In Antwerp a city tour of the historical city center is scheduled. You

Markt, the Groenplaats and the picturesque Vlaeykensgang. Subsequently you are invited to taste excellent Belgium French fries at Antwerp’s best Frituur. You will enjoy dinner in a restaurant at the Dijle.
Day 2 Day of connoisseurs in Mechelen
In the morning a guide picks you up for a guided tour of the former
capital of the Burgundian Netherlands. In Mechelen there are 300
buildings classified as historical monuments, four of them belonging
to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. The guide explains why the
people of Mechelen wanted to extinguish the moon. In the afternoon a
boat trip on the Dijle the river passing through Mechelen is scheduled.
Subsequently you enjoy a beer tasting with Borrelhapjes in a brewery
before you will have dinner in a restaurant at the Grote Markt.

Tag 4 grünes Flandern
Sie unternehmen eine Tagesreise zu den historischen Orten im
grünen Flandern. Zunächst fahren Sie nach Tongeren, der ältesten
Stadt Belgiens mit dem Gallo-Römischen Museum und dem Denkmal für Ambiorix, dem Volkshelden des Landes. Nach der Stadtführung fahren Sie zur Provinzhauptstadt Hasselt und besichtigen
auch das Jenevermuseum inklusive einer Kostprobe. In der Stadt
Diest wandeln Sie auf den Spuren der Fürsten von Oranje Nassau.
Tag 5 Maastal mit Namur, Dinant und den Gärten von Annevoie
Heute besuchen Sie das wirklich malerische Maastal. Zunächst
besichtigen Sie das herrlich am Ufer der Maas gelegene Dinant, anschließend fahren Sie weiter zu den bekannten Wassergärten von
Annevoie. Nach einer Pause geht es weiter zur Provinzhauptstadt
Namur, von deren Zitadelle Sie noch einen herrlichen Ausblick über
das Maastal genießen können.

afternoon you visit the very cozy city of Mechelen, former capital of the

Day 4 Green Flanders
Make a daytrip to the historical places in green Flanders. First you go to
Tongeren, Belgium’s oldest city with the Gallo-Roman museum and the
Statue of Ambiorix, the folk hero of this country. After a city tour you go
on to Hasselt, the capital of the province where you visit the National
Genever Museum including tasting. In the city of Diest you walk in the
footsteps of the princes of Orange-Nassau.
Day 5 Maas valley, Namur, Dinant and the Gardens of Annevoie
Today you visit the really picturesque Maas valley. First you will see the
city of Dinant, charmingly situated on the banks of the Maas. Subsequently a visit of the renowned Gardens of Annevoie is scheduled. After
a short break the journey goes in the city of Namur, the capital of this
province. Enjoy the marvelous view of the Maas valley from its citadel.

Tag 1 Weinschloss Genoels-Elderen und Stadtführung Leuven
Am Anreisetag besuchen Sie das Weinschloss Genoels-Elderen in
der Provinz Limburg. Sie sind eingeladen zu einem Spaziergang
durch den Schlosspark und den größten Weingarten Belgiens. Sie
sehen das Kutschenhaus mit der modernsten Traubenpresse und
die alten und die neuen Keller, anschließend verkosten Sie 3 edle
Weine. Nach dem Bezug der Zimmer in Leuven begrüßt Sie ein
örtlicher Reiseleiter zu einer Stadtführung durch diese lebendige
Universitätsstadt. Sie sehen unter anderem das berühmte Rathaus
und die „längste Theke der Welt“.
Tag 2 Stadtführung - Antwerpen - Pommes Frites - Bierprobe
Am Vormittag werden Sie in Antwerpen zu einer Stadtführung
durch die historische Innenstadt erwartet. Sie sehen die Schelde,
die Kathedrale, die Zunfthäuser am Grote Markt, den Groenplaats
und den malerischen Vlaeykensgang. Zur Mittagspause genießen
Sie belgische Pommes Frites von der besten Frituur der Stadt.
Nachmittags fahren nach Mechelen, wo Sie die bekannte Brauerei
Het Anker besichtigen. Nach einer Führung können Sie ein gutes
Carolus Classic genießen und erhalten einige Borrelhapjes.
Tag 3 Stadtrundfahrt - Brüssel - Chocolaterie - belgische Waffeln
Heute steht eine Tagesfahrt in die Landeshauptstadt Brüssel
auf dem Programm. Während einer Stadtrundfahrt sehen Sie
zunächst das Expogelände und das Atomium, wo Sie zu einem
Fotostopp halten. Anschließend fahren Sie vorbei am Schloss
Laeken, dem Quartier Louise mit dem Justizpalast, dem Sablonund Marollenviertel und dem Königspalast. Sie gehen zu Fuß zum
Grand Place und sagen dem Manneken Pis Bonjour. Anschließend
erhalten Sie bei der Besichtigung einer Chocolaterie eine Tasse
heiße Schokolade und mehrere Pralinenproben. Brüssel ist bekannt
für seine Waffeln, ihre Geschichte reicht zurück bis 1850. In einem
Café am Grand Place sind Sie zu einer Waffel und einer Tasse Kaffee
eingeladen, bevor Sie zum Hotel zurückkehren.
Tag 4 Heimreise
Nach dem Frühstück treten Sie die Heimreise an.
Day 1 Genoels-Elderen Wine Castle and Leuven Sightseeing Tour
Upon arrival, you pay a visit to the Genoels-Elderen Wine Castle in
the province of Limburg. Take a walk through the park and have
a look at Belgium’s biggest wine garden. You will see the carriage
house with its ultra-modern grape press as well as the old and
new cellars. Afterward you get to degust 3 fine wines. After settling
into your rooms in Leuven, a local guide welcomes you on a tour
through this vibrant university town. Among others, the trip leads
past the famous city hall and the “world’s longest counter.”
Day 2 Antwerp Sightseeing Tour - Belgian Fries - Beer Tasting
In the morning, we invite you on a sightseeing tour through
historical downtown, passing the Scheldt river, cathedral, Grote
Markt guild houses, and Groenplaats square as well as the
picturesque Vlaeykensgang. For lunch, have some Belgian fries
from the best shack in town! In the afternoon, a drive to Mechelen
takes you to the Het Anker brewery. After a guided tour, enjoy a
nice Carolus Classic with some Borrelhapjes.
Day 3 Brussels Sightseeing Tour, a Visit to the Chocolate
Manufactury and Belgian Waffels
Today, you will embark on a day trip to the Belgian capital
of Brussels. A sightseeing tour will lead you to the World Fair
exhibition grounds and the Atomium, where you can stop for
photos. Afterward, you will pass Laeken Palace, the Avenue Louise
and Palace of Justice, the Salbon and Marolle Quarters, and the
Royal Palace. You will visit the Grand Place on foot and say bonjour
to Manneken Pis. After lunch, why not have a hot chocolate and
some treats during a visit to the chocolate manufactury! Brussels
is renowned for its waffles, their history stretching back all the way
to 1850. We invite you for a waffle and a cup of coffee at a café by
the Grand Place before you return to the hotel.
Day 4 Departure
After breakfast, you will be on your way home.

Tag 2 Ausstellung „Sixties“ in Bokrijk und Stadtführung in Hasselt
Nach dem reichhaltigen Frühstücksbuffet fahren Sie zunächst
zum Freilichtmuseum Bokrijk, wo Sie sich die Ausstellung „The
Sixties“ ansehen. Lassen Sie sich zurückversetzen in die Zeit, als
die ersten Fernseher und Tonbänder die Wohnzimmer eroberten.
Herrliche Räumlichkeiten zeigen Ihnen das Leben der damaligen
Zeit. Anschließend fahren Sie zur Provinzhauptstadt Hasselt, die
als Hauptstadt der flämischen Jeneverbrennerei bekannt ist und
einen sehr guten Ruf als Einkaufsstadt hat. Während einer Stadtführung werden Sie dem Charme dieser Stadt erliegen.
Tag 3 Stadtführung in Maastricht
Maastricht ist eine der ältesten und sicherlich auch schönsten
Städte der Niederlande. Weite Teile der Innenstadt sind Fußgängerzone, dies lädt zum gemütlichen flanieren ein. Während einer
Stadtführung sehen Sie die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der
Stadt. Anschließend haben Sie Zeit, in einem Café am Vrijthof,
einem der bekanntesten Plätze der Niederlande, den bekannten
Limburger Vlaai zu probieren oder eine Bootsfahrt auf der Maas zu
unternehmen.
Tag 4 Antiquitätenmarkt von Tongeren und Heimreise
Heute besuchen Sie in Tongeren, der ältesten Stadt Belgiens, den
bekanntesten Antiquitätenmarkt Belgiens. Vielleicht machen Sie
noch das ein oder andere Schnäppchen, bevor Sie die Heimreise
antreten.
Day 1 Hoensbroek Castle
On the day of arrival you visit Hoensbroek castle near Heerlen. A
guide leads you through the splendid castle which belongs to the
biggest and most beautiful ones of the Netherlands. Subsequently
you go on to your hotel where you are welcomed with a delicious
Belgium beer.
Day 2 Exhibition “Sixties“ in Bokrijk and city tour of Hasselt
After a rich breakfast buffet you first go the open-air museum
Bokrijk where you visit the exhibition “The Sixties“. Let yourself be
put back into the time the first televisions and tapes conquered
the living rooms. Gorgeous rooms show how life was at that time.
Subsequently you drive to the capital of the province – Hasselt –
known as capital of the Flemish Genever-distillery and having an
outstanding reputation as shopping city. In the course of a city tour
you will succumb to the charm of this city.
Day 3 City tour of Maastricht
Maastricht is one of the oldest and surely the most beautiful cities
of the Netherlands. Great parts of the city center are pedestrian
area which invites to a leisurely stroll. In the course of a city tour
you will see the most important sights of the city. Subsequently
you have got time to taste the renowned Limburg Vlaai in a café at
the Vrijthof, one of the best known places of the Netherlands, or to
make a boat trip on the Maas.
Day 4 Antique market of Tongeren and return journey
Today you visit the renowned antique market in Tongeren,
Belgium’s oldest city. Maybe you find a bargain before your return
journey starts.

Day 2 Province of Liège and racing museum of Stavelot
After breakfast your guide takes you to a daylong trip into the
French-speaking part of Belgium. First you go to the bishop city
Liège, the commercial and cultural center of the correspondent
province. In the course of a city tour you will see the Palace of
the Prince Bishops, the Grand Curtius museum and other sights.
Subsequently you go to the Abbey of Stavelot south of Liège. This
splendid Abbey hosts a widely known racing museum which you

Day 3 City tour of Maastricht and boat trip on the Maas
Maastricht is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities of

Aachener Dom und die Domschatzkammer. Sie haben noch

Hasselt ist die Hauptstadt der belgischen Provinz Limburg und ist
als die Hauptstadt des Geschmacks bekannt. Hasselt hat viel zu
bieten: eine große Zahl ausgezeichneter Restaurants und Cafés,
gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und den größten japanischen Garten
Europas. Nach einer Stadtführung besichtigen Sie das nationale
Jenevermuseum und genießen natürlich auch noch eine kleine
Probe. Nachmittags entdecken Sie Tongeren, die älteste Stadt
Belgiens, bekannt durch das Gallo-Römische Museum (European

You will reach Liège in the afternoon. In the course of a 2-hours
city tour you will see the most important sights of the city like
the Grand Curtius museum, Palace of the Prince Bishops, the old
town, the famous opera “Opera Royal de Wallonie“ and the new
Guillemins railway station by the star-architect Calatrava. The
dinner is scheduled at the hotel.
Day 2 Aachen
After breakfast you go to Aachen where a city tour is scheduled.
After a lunch break you visit Aachen Cathedral which belongs to the
world cultural heritage and the Cathedral Treasury. Subsequently
you have got the opportunity to stop in one of the cozy cafés in the
old town before your return journey to Liège starts.
Day 3 Hasselt and Tongeren
Hasselt is the capital of the Belgian province Limburg and is
renowned as capital of taste. Hasselt has a lot to offer: a great
number of excellent restaurants and cafés, great shopping
opportunities and Europe’s biggest Japanese garden. After a city
tour a visit of the National Genever Museum is scheduled where
you of course also have the opportunity of a little tasting. In the
afternoon you discover Tongeren, Belgium’s oldest city, renowned
by the Gallo-Roman museum (European Museum of the year
2011), the statue of Ambiorix, the impressive gothic basilica, the
picturesque Beguinage (UNESCO-world cultural heritage) and the
antique flea market.
Day 4 Maastricht
The capital of the Dutch province of Limburg is one of the oldest

Tag 2 Region Rurtalsperre, Aachen und Dreiländereck
Am Vormittag fahren Sie zur Rurtalsperre im Nationalpark Eifel
und unternehmen dort eine Rundfahrt mit dem Schiff auf dem
malerischen Rursee. Nach einer kurzen Mittagspause fahren Sie
weiter zur Kaiserstadt Aachen. Sie genießen eine Führung durch

Rückweg nach Lüttich besuchen Sie noch den Dreiländerpunkt in

Tag 3 Val Dieu

Day 2 Region of Rur Dam, Aachen and the border triangle
In the morning you are going to the Rur Dam in the national park
Eifel where a round trip by boat on the picturesque Rur Reservoir
is scheduled. After a short lunch break you go on to the emperor
city Aachen. Enjoy a guided tour of the old town and the town hall,
internationally renowned by the annual award of the Charlemagne
Prize. On your way back to Liège you visit the border triangle point
in Vaals where the Wilhelmia tower offers a splendid view over the
three adjoining countries. The dinner is once again scheduled at
the hotel.
Day 3 Val Dieu
After breakfast you will go to the Abbey of Val Dieu, picturesquely
situated in a small valley. After a visit you have the opportunity to
taste one of the abbey beers which are brewed in the neighboring

Tag 1 Lüttich
Nach der Ankunft erwartet Sie ein Stadtführer zu einem
Spaziergang durch die Kunststadt an der Maas. Sie sehen das
prächtige Gebäude des neuen Museumskomplexes Grand Curtius,
den fürstbischöflichen Palast und weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Tag 2 Namur, Gärten von Annevoie, Dinant und Schloss Modave
Nach dem Frühstück begrüßt Sie ein Reiseleiter zu einer
Tagesfahrt in das herrliche Maastal. Zunächst fahren Sie nach
Namur, Hauptstadt der gleichnamigen Provinz. Nach einem
Stadtbummel fahren Sie mit dem Bus zur Aussichtsplattform
auf der Zitadelle, von wo Sie einen einzigartigen Ausblick über
das Maastal haben. Anschließend fahren Sie zu den berühmten
Wassergärten von Annevoie, die Sie im Rahmen einer Führung
kennenlernen. In Dinant, auch Perle der Maas genannt, machen
Sie eine Mittagspause. Genießen Sie das herrliche Panorama mit
der Zitadelle und der Stiftskirche. Das Schloss Modave besticht
durch seine spektakuläre Hanglage und sein Interieur. Nach einer
Besichtigung fahren Sie zurück zum Hotel.
Tag 3 Verviers, Eupen und Val Dieu
Heute besuchen Sie mit einem Reiseleiter zunächst die Wollstadt
Verviers, die im 17. Jahrhundert ihren Reichtum erlangte.
Einige herrliche Bauten zeugen von der reichen Vergangenheit
der Stadt. Eupen, die Stadt der Tuchmacher, ist die nächste
Station dieser Tagesfahrt. Auf einem Stadtspaziergang sehen
Sie zahlreiche Patrizier- und Bürgerhäuser aus dem 18.
Jahrhundert. Anschließend fahren Sie weiter zur malerisch in
einem Tal gelegenen Abtei von Val Dieu. In Val Dieu werden Sie zur
Besichtigung der Abtei und einer anschließenden Verkostung von
Bier und Käse in der benachbarten Brauerei eingeladen.
Tag 4 Heimreise
Nach dem Frühstück treten Sie die Heimreise an.

Day 1 Liège
After your arrival a guide will take you on a walk through the art
city on the banks of the Maas. See the splendid building of the new
Grand Curtius museum-complex, the prince-bishop palace and
other sights.
Day 2 Namur, Gardens of Annevoie, Dinant and Modave castle
After breakfast you will start a daytrip into the magnificent Maas
valley together with your guide. First you will go to Namur, the
capital of the corresponding province. After a stroll across the city
you will go by bus to the viewpoint on the citadel from where you
have a unique view across the Maas valley. Afterwards you go on to
the famous water gardens of Annevoie which you will get to know
in the course of a guided tour. A lunch break is scheduled in Dinant,
also named the pearl of the Maas. Enjoy the splendid panorama
with the citadel and the collegiate church. Modave castle
impresses by its spectacular location on a slope and its interior.
After a visit you will go back to your hotel.
Day 3 Verviers, Eupen and Val Dieu
First your guide will take you to the wool-city of Verviers which
gained its wealth in the 17th century. Some splendid buildings give
evidence of this rich past of the city. Eupen, the city of the clothiers
is the next station of this daytrip. In the course of a stroll across
the city you will see numerous patrician and bourgeois houses of
the 18th century. Afterwards you go on to the abbey of Val Dieu,
picturesquely situated in a valley where you visit the abbey and
enjoy a tasting of beer and cheese in the neighboring brewery.
Day 4 Return journey
After breakfast your return journey starts.
