Studieren im Ausland – Wann?
Wann ist der richtige Zeitpunkt im Studienablauf ein Auslandssemester
einzuplanen?
Ideal ist ein Auslandsaufenthalt im 4. oder 6. Fachsemester. Da bei den meisten
ausländischen Studienstandorten nur ein perfekter Match der Vorlesungszeiten
im Wintersemester besteht, sollte der Aufenthalt für ein Wintersemester geplant
werden. Das bedeutet:

Studieren im Ausland – Voraussetzungen
Ausreichende Sprachkenntnisse
Um erfolgreich im Ausland zu studieren, sollten Sie die Unterrichtssprache
der Partnerhochschule (i.d.R. Englisch) gut beherrschen.
Sie müssen nicht nur in der Lage sein, den Lehrveranstaltungen zu folgen,
sondern sich auch selbst mündlich und schriftlich zu Themen Ihres
Studienganges äußern können. Grundkenntnisse in der Landessprache sind
ebenfalls von Vorteil.
Für
die
meisten
Partnerhochschulen
ist
der
DAADEinstufungstest ausreichend, sofern die Sprachkenntnisse ausreichen.
In Sigmaringen wird der DAAD-Test jedes Semester kostenfrei angeboten
– der Test ist – sobald er abgelegt wurde – zeitlich unbegrenzt gültig.
Tipp: Legen Sie den Test in jedem Fall sehr frühzeitig ab!

Studieren im Ausland – Bewerbung, Fristen
Antragsfrist für das jeweils kommende Wintersemester: 15. Januar
Antragsfrist für das jeweils kommende Sommersemester: 30. September
Die Bewerbungen werden nach dem 15. 01. / 30.09. intern vom Akademischen
Auslandamt bearbeitet, von den Studiengängen beurteilt und danach an die
Partnerhochschulen weitergeleitet.
Die Bewerbungsunterlagen umfassen dabei ( Vordrucke & Abgabe: AAA):
Bewerbung
• Anschreiben
• Lebenslauf mit Passbild
• Notenspiegel (deutsch)
• "Application-Form" der Partnerhochschule (soweit vorhanden)
• DAAD-Sprachnachweis
• Gutachten eines Hochschullehrers (sofern notwendig)

Studieren im Ausland –
Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten
Es gibt viele unterschiedliche Möglichkeiten, den Auslandsaufenthalt zu
finanzieren. Beantragen Sie immer alle Stipendien, die für Sie in Frage
kommen, das erhöht die Erfolgswahrscheinlichkeit. Bitte achten Sie darauf, die
Antragsfristen der verschiedenen Organisationen einzuhalten.
Auch wenn die Zusage zum Studienplatz oder zum Praxissemesterplatz noch
nicht vorliegt, ist eine Bewerbung um ein Stipendium sinnvoll.

dafür anzurechendnen Prüfungsleistungen in Sigmaringen hinterlegt werden und von den jeweiligen
Modulverantwortlichen
gegengezeichnet werden (vgl. Formular
AAA).

SWISS GERMAN UNIVERSITY
Swiss German University (SGU) was established in 2000 as the first
international university with a dual academic license recognized as a university
under Indonesian law.
SGU was formed through a joint effort between Indonesia, Germany,
Switzerland, and Austria with the objective of bringing a strong international

The Cape Peninsula University of Technology is at the
heart of technology education and innovation in Africa.
An internationally acclaimed institution, it is the only
university of technology in the Western Cape and is
