Außen hart, innen ganz weich: So lässt sich Mell Lounge
mit losen Kissen am besten beschreiben. Die neuen,
weichen Kissen im Sitzbereich, die auch als durchge
hende Variante erhältlich sind, bilden einen kuscheligen
Gegensatz zu den gewohnt strengen Außenflächen. Das
Ganze steht – oder viel mehr schwebt – auf einem filigranen
Metallgestell, das wahlweise verchromt oder lackiert ist.

The new soft cushions in the sitting area, which are also
available as a continuous variant, form a cosy contrast to
the familiarly severe outer surfaces. The whole thing
stands — or rather floats — on a filigree metal frame which
is optionally chrome-plated or lacquered.
Mell Lounge mit losen Kissen sorgt nicht nur allein, sondern
auch in der Gruppe für Eindruck im Wohnzimmer. Die
einzelnen Elemente lassen sich mühelos zusammenfügen.
Der Hocker kann eingebaut oder frei stehend genutzt
werden, man hat die Wahl zwischen Armlehnen oder
offenen Abschlusselementen und alles kann immer
wieder neu miteinander in Beziehung gebracht werden.
Mell Lounge with loose cushions makes an impression
in the living room — both on its own and in a group. The
individual elements can be combined effortlessly. The
stool is suitable for integrated or free-standing use.
There is a choice of armrests or open end elements, and
everything can be recombined in endless variations.

Mell Lounge ist ein spannungsvoller Charakter: außen
kantig, innen rund, dabei durchdacht bis ins Detail. Das
erfährt man nicht nur als lässigen Sitzkomfort, sondern
auch durch den grafischen Verlauf der Nähte. Die Stahl
kufen sind zudem so filigran, dass Mell Lounge zu
schweben scheint. Wer genauer hinschaut, entdeckt an
ihnen noch gerundete Winkel – Details, die für minima
listische Eleganz stehen. Mell Lounge ist nicht nur Sofa
und Sessel, sondern auch Kissen und Kuschelecke,
Verbindungsteil, Hocker und Tisch. Zusammen ergibt
das Sitzlandschaften nach eigenem Bedarf: immer
bequem und von jener besonderen Leichtigkeit, die die
feinen Stahlkufen an Tischen und Sitzmöbeln vermitteln.
Mell Lounge is an engrossing character: angular on the outside, round on the inside, and well thought-out to the last
detail. This is made evident not only in the form of casual
seating comfort, but also by the graphic progression of the
seams. In addition, the steel skids are so delivately formed
that Mell almost appears to be floating. A closer look reveals
that it has rounded corners — details that denote minimalist
elegance. Mell Lounge is not just a sofa and easy chair, but
also cushions and a comfort zone, connection element,
footstool and table. Taken together, the result is seating
landscapes that meet individual requirements: always
