The German Language Schools Metro Toronto Inc. is holding their
first traditional Lanternparade.
Saturday, November 14th, 2015
5.30pm to 7.00pm
L'Amoreaux Sports Complex Shelter Area A
(Kidstown Waterpark parking lot)
3159 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, M1V 1S4
We will sing traditional German songs and hear stories about St.
Martin and do a parade through the dark park with our bright lanterns.
Afterwards you are invited to hot chocolate or coffee and the
traditional Martin Pretzels.
The host school, DSS Scarborough, welcomes young and old singers
from all 4 DSS Schools with their colourful lanterns!
You would like to help or volunteer?
We need: Parent-School-Coordinators,
donations of coffee and hot chocolate (in
thermos flasks) and senior student helpers
(High School Students) - those who are
willing to help with set-up/clean-up, and
during the event will earn community hours!

ersten großen Laternenumzug.

Zu traditionellen deutschen Martinsliedern und Geschichten ziehen
wir mit unseren Laternen durch den dunklen Park.
Anschließend laden wir ein zu heißer Schokolade, Kaffee und
traditionellen Martinsbrezeln.
Die Gastgeberschule, DSS Scarborough, freut sich über viele kleine
und große Sänger mit ihren farbenprächtigen Laternen!
Sie möchten helfen? Wir benötigen
Eltern-Schule-Koordinatoren, Kakao- und
Kaffeespenden (in Thermoskannen) und
Schüler der oberen Klassen, die uns beim
Aufund
Abbau
und
bei
der
Getränkeausgabe helfen möchten – ihr
könnt Euch bei uns Community hours
verdienen!
