Im Lichthof dominieren von den Geländern abgehängte Kettenvorhänge der Marke
Kriskadecor. Ein Muster in Gold und Schwarz zieht sich über die Geschosse und
lässt das Atrium optisch zu einem einzigen vertikalen Raum verschmelzen.
The light well is distinguished by the chain curtains from Kriskadecor. A gold-andblack pattern extends through-out, giving the atrium the appearance of a single
vertical space.
Die Lounge ist facettenreich gestaltet.

© José Hevia Blach Eine der Auflagen vonseiten des Denkmalschutzamtes war es, eine bestehende Marmortreppe in das Designkonzept des neuen Vincci Gala zu
integrieren. Der Name ‚Gala‘ nimmt Bezug auf Salvador Dalís Muse und
Ehefrau, ein nicht zu übersehendes Gestaltungselement und Inspiration für ein Konzept irgendwo zwischen Eleganz und Extravaganz. Dazu
kontrastieren Merkmale wie hell und dunkel, Gold und Marmor, alt und
neu. Neben der (Innen-)Architektur waren Tekno-Bau Ibérica ebenso
für Beleuchtung, Dekoration und Grafikdesign verantwortlich, was dem
Vier-Sterne-Hotel ein durchgängiges Erscheinungsbild beschert. Bis in
die Zimmer zieht sich unter anderem das allgegenwärtige Motiv Gold,
dazu die Farbe Grau und lineare, indirekte Beleuchtung. Im Restaurant
und in den Besprechungsräumen ermöglichen mobile Trennwände eine
flexible Raumordnung und -nutzung. Auf verschiedenen Ebenen sind
Terrassen zum Innenhof angeordnet, die den Außenraum des im Stadtteil Eixample gelegenen Hotels zur Lounge werden lassen.
One of the requirements imposed by the authority for the protection
of historical buildings was that the existing marble steps be integrated
into the design concept of the new Vincci Gala. The name ‘Gala’ is an
homage to Salvador Dalí’s muse and wife, a magnificent design element
and inspiration for a concept that lies somewhere between elegance
and extravagance that features contrasts between light and dark, gold
and marble, old and new. Tekno-Bau Ibérica was responsible not only
for the interior design, but also for the lighting, decoration and graphic
design, a setup that allowed them to implement the same concept for
the entire fourstar hotel. The motif gold, the colour grey and linear,
indirect lighting are features that can be found throughout the hotel. In
the restaurant and conference rooms, mobile partitions allow for flexible room configuration and usage. Terraces face onto the courtyard
on various levels, transforming the outdoor areas of this hotel in the
Eixample district into a lounge.
