Der Stein kann zur Exploration des Mondes dienen, da er drei zur Mondbeobachtung
einsetzbare Winkel in seinen Konturen und Gravierungen enthält.
The stone can be used for the exploration of the moon as it contains three usable for Moon
observation angles in its contours and engravings.
Zusätzlich könnte man die rechte Steinseite als Mondgesicht zur ¾ Phase des Mondes
deuten.
In addition, one could interpret as phase of the moon of the ¾ moon face the right side of the
stone.

gleichzeitig die Augenzone des Mondgesichtes.
The line of maximum lunar extreme (50°) is selectively etched and forms the eye zone of the
face of the Moon as well.
Die Konturen des Steins sind so gebildet, dass sie das minimale Mondextrem (31°) und
das maximale Mondextrem (50°) abbilden. Die Mondextreme sind die maximalen
Aufgangswinkel des Mondes nach Norden (50°) oder Süden (31°) von der Ost-WestAchse.
The contours of the stone are so built that they depict the minimum lunar extreme (31°) and
the maximum extreme of moon (50°). The extremes of the moon are the maximum rise angle
of the moon to the North (50°) or South (31°) of the East-West axis.
Die linke Steinseite bildet den Höchststand des Mondes (68°) ab.

Mondgesichtes erkennen.
The Moon stones W922S and W999S indicate the intention of the representation of a moon
face both.
Die Darstellung bei W922S wirkt überzeugend und belegt damit gleichzeitig, dass die
Intention zur Darstellung eines Mondgesichtes bei den Steinzeitkünstlern gegeben war.
The appearance of a moon-face at W922S is convincing and indicates that the
representation of a moon face by the Stone Age artists was not unusual.
