we poured our hearts and souls into this bike. Now, LECTOR is reborn, the first bike in more

Internal cable routing
All cables enter the frame at the head tube and reemerge as needed. The down tube,
seat stays and even the bottom bracket all conceal cables and wiring, protecting them
from the elements.

Frame protection
The chainstay is protected from damage by a specially formed plastic cover. This
ensures a clean appearance and frame durability. The port under the bottom bracket
serves both to protect the frame and to provide access for maintenance.
Disconnect brakemount
The integrated brakemount, an innovative technical feature already proven on the
GHOST RIOT, has been re-optimized. The LECTOR ULC models’ rear brake is directly
connected to the X12 thru-axle system and protects the frame from thermal and
mechanical stress. This unique design transfers braking force through the aluminum
brakemount, thus reducing load on the carbon frame and lowering the overall weight.
X12 thru-axle system
The GHOST LECTOR utilizes the standard X12 thru-axle system from the RIOT in a
revolutionary new way. The X12 thru-axle determines the position of the hanger, the
brakemount and the rear wheel. The continuous exact positioning of the respective
components is always maintained by the tight fit of the X12 thru-axle, and offers the
advantage of transferring acceleration and deceleration forces through the X12 thruaxle instead of the carbon frame.
World Cup proven geometry
The geometry has been refined yet again. Shorter head tubes and chainstays
guarantee better agility and more precise handling. The reduced stand-over height
provides more freedom on the bike to tackle demanding terrain. Proven in the World
Cup, the 31.6 mm seat tube diameter gives you the option of using a dropper seat post,
letting you ride even more aggressively.

Interne Zugverlegung
Sämtliche Leitungen werden am Steuerrohr in den Rahmen eingeführt und kommen
bedarfsgerecht wieder zum Vorschein. Das Unterrohr, die Sitzstreben und sogar der
Tretlagerbereich verbergen die Züge und Leitungen und schützen sie so vor äußeren
Einflüssen.
Rahmenschutz
Die Kettenstrebe wird durch einen speziell geformten Kunststoff vor Beschädigungen
geschützt. Dadurch wird eine saubere Optik und Rahmenhaltbarkeit garantiert.
Der Deckel auf der Unterseite des Tretlagerbereichs dient zum einen dem Schutz des
Rahmens, als auch als Revisionsöffnung.
Disconnect Brakemount
Die integrierte Bremsenaufnahme ist eine innovative technische Lösung mit herausragendem Design, die sich bereits beim GHOST RIOT bewährt hat und noch einmal
optimiert wurde. Die Hinterradbremse ist bei den LECTOR ULC Modellen direkt mit
dem X12 Steckachs-System verbunden und schützt den Rahmen vor thermischen und
mechanischen Belastungen bei gleichzeitig geringerem Gesamtgewicht.
X12 Steckachs-System
Das GHOST LECTOR verwendet das bekannte X12 Steckachs-System auf die –
ausschließlich vom RIOT bekannte – neuartige Weise. Die Steckachse bestimmt
die Position des Schaltauges, der Bremsaufnahme und des Hinterrads. Die exakte
Positionierung der entsprechenden Komponenten wird immer durch den festen Sitz
der X12 Steckachse definiert. Dies hat den Vorteil, dass die Antriebs- und Bremskräfte in die Steckachse statt in den Carbonrahmen fließen.
Weltcup ERPROBTE GEOMETRIE
Die Geometrie wurde nochmals verfeinert. Kürzere Steuerrohre und Kettenstreben
sorgen für noch agileres und direkteres Fahrverhalten. Die verringerte Überstandshöhe verschafft auch in schwierigen Passagen mehr Freiheit auf dem Rad.
Im Weltcup bewährt: 31,6 mm Sitzrohrdurchmesser erlauben den Einsatz von
Teleskopsattelstützen und damit noch aggressivere Positionen und Fahrmanöver.

The GHOST Factory Racing Team has gained valuable experience around the globe for many
years. The GHOST HTX helped Lisi Osl win the overall World Cup title and Alexandra Engen
two consecutive World Championships. So far our HTX models have already won nearly
every race and title. Olympic Gold, Overall World Cup rankings, World Championship titles,
World Cup victories, and a new title being added almost every weekend. All of this knowhow was integral to developing the new GHOST LECTOR. MountainBIKE magazine rated our
HTX as the best hardtail ever. We have made the best even better, and proudly present the
LECTOR, the best hardtail of all time.
Wettkampf, Anspannung, Adrenalin, Schweiß, Sieg. Beim Kampf an der Weltspitze geht es
um Details – die perfekte Geometrie, ausbalanciertes Fahrverhalten, ideale Ausstattung,
