Hilton Austin Downtown | Salon C | 500 E 4th Street | Austin
SUPERNERDS is a transmedial experience to make mass

stories of whistleblowers such as Edward Snowden – on TV, on
the web and on stage. gebrueder beetz filmproduktion, broadcaster WDR and Schauspiel Köln used emotional and interactive storytelling to create an outstanding „Night of Surveillance“
that was acclaimed „a triumph for public TV broadcasting“ by
the media. The project that was funded by NRW Filmstiftung
was awarded as „Best crossmedia event campaign“ at the Eyes
and Ears Awards and is nominated for the SXSW Interactive
Innovation Awards.

Eventually STABIL ELITE was founded, when their own desire
for a still unexplored pop hybrid grew too strong and had to
becomea reality. In addition the German lyrics’ meaning is only
revealed when not looking for it: Melodic, scenic descriptions
of abstract imagery, which embrace pop from an avantgarde
perspective – more Dada than Gaga.
BenjRose
Music
Friday, 2016-03-18 | 8.00 p.m. – 8.40 p.m.
Buffalo Billards | 201 E 6th Street | Austin
At the age of twelve Benjamin Rose signed his first record
contractwith BMG Records. In 2015 he and his band BenjRose
have been touring all around Germany supporting rock legend
Marius Müller Westernhagen. In the years between the singer/
songwriter met producer and keyboardist Rami Jaffee (Foo
Fighters/Wallflowers) who added his vast experience and
musicianship for the new sound of rock.
COMA
Music
Saturday, 2016-03-19 | 10.00 p.m. – 10.40 p.m.
Scratch House | 617 E 7th Street | Austin
Both producers of COMA are more ardent perfectionists than
hyped-up egomaniacs. But Marius Bubat and Georg Conrad
found their own way to break down the barriers between club
culture and live concerts, they win over the audience almost
immediatelywith pop-infused electronics including laptops,
guitars, synthesizers and microphones.
