Dear Colleague,
this is to announce the forthcoming Catania International Summer School of Neuroscience
CISSN (July 11-15, 2016) managed by the International Ph.D. Program of Neuroscience,
University of Catania.
This edition is focused on “CANNABINOID RECEPTORS: THEIR ROLE IN PHYSIOLOGY
AND PATHOLOGY”.
The CISSN will offer to 40 Ph.D. students and postdoc fellows a high level, intensive educational
program carried out by an excellent international faculty.
The CISSN will take place in a unique location, an old Villa close to Noto (the most famous
baroque city in Sicily, 30 km away from Syracuse and a few km from the Vendicari natural park).
In this venue, attendees will keep direct contact with lecturers for 5 days in interactive environment.
Attendees will take advantage of free accommodation in the School venue and meals. Transfer from
the Catania International Airport will also be provided.
The registration fee is 400 €. Furthermore, 10 attendees will be selected on the basis of their
CV to be awarded a 500 € travel grant.
Approval of registration to CISSN will be priority based, built on formal e-mail commitment
by the participants (deadline 15th March 2016).
Applicants excluded from the list of attendees of 2016 CISSN will be further integrated in the
priority list for the 2017 CISSN.
