24 Herb Combinations to treat Respiratory Disorders
Who can benefit from this course? This course is suitable for practitioners with a basic
understanding of the organ syndromes of Chinese medicine. For example, acupuncture
practitioners, Western herbalists, and Chinese herbalists. No prior training in Western or Chinese
herbal medicine is required.
New integrated system of herbal medicine: The emphasis in this course is on using Western herbs
according to Jeremy’s new integrated system of Chinese medicine, Western herbal tradition, and
modern pharmacology.
New system of diagnosis and treatment: Jeremy will show you how to use his new system of
diagnosis and treatment, based on the 4 Qi Imbalances. This system makes choice of single herbs
and herb combinations easy. Jeremy will show you how to apply this system to the treatment of the
disorders shown below.
24 HERB COMBINATIONS:
Jeremy has designed over 300 herb combinations for the treatment of modern diseases. He will
describe the 24 combinations, shown below, to treat the respiratory disorders seen in modern
clinical practice. Respiratory infections and fever: acute phase (Herbs for drug-resistant microorganisms): 1. recurring influenza; 2. influenza + myalgia; 3. acute fever. Respiratory infections and
fever: chronic and recovery phase (Recovery from repeated antibiotic prescriptions): 4. influenza
recovery, 5. recurring fever + myalgia, 6. recurring fever + night-sweats, 7. recurring fever +
antibiotics weakness. Cough and bronchitis: 8. non-productive spasmodic cough, 9. cough + excess
sticky phlegm, 10. chronic bronchitis + cardiac weakness, 11. weak cough + exhaustion, 12. chronic
cough + watery phlegm. Asthma: 13. acute asthma, 14. acute asthma + ephedra intolerance, 15.
acute asthma + allergic rhinitis, 16. acute asthma + anxiety, 17. asthma remission phase
Sinusitis and rhinitis: 18. acute allergic rhinitis, 19. allergic rhinitis: remission phase, 20. sinusitis +
heat sensations, 21. sinusitis + bronchitis. Throat infections: 22. Lingering sore throat, 23. Acute
tonsillitis, 24. Tonsillitis: remission phase
Immediate use You can use these combinations in the clinic immediately after this course, and you
are given full details for safe and effective use.
Recommended textbook for the course “Die Rezepturen” by Jeremy Ross, which contains over 300
herbal formulas, with details of how to use them.
Jeremy Ross studied biology at the University of Birmingham, specializing in plant physiology and
biochemistry. This was followed by the training of the National Institute of
Medical Herbalists UK, of which he is a member, and a doctorate in acupuncture
from the British College of Acupuncture. In 1988 he completed a two-year
training in Chinese herbal medicine with Ted Kaptchuk, followed by further
training at the International College in Nanjing, China. After 17 years of clinical
practice in Bristol, England, he practiced for 10 years in Seattle, USA, and in
2004 returned back to Bristol. For 25 years, Jeremy Ross has specialized on the
integration of Western Herbs and Chinese Medicine. He is the leader in this field
and the author of three textbooks on this topic.

Die Sondertarife können nur gewährt werden, wenn gleichzeitig mit der Anmeldung eine
schriftliche Bestätigung über die Einkommenssituation eingereicht wird. In allen anderen Fällen
wird der Standardtarif verrechnet. Eine nachträgliche Rückerstattung ist aus finanztechnischen
Gründen nicht möglich.

Teilnehmerzahl nicht erreicht werden, muss der Kurs leider abgesagt werden.
