Letter of Invitation European Championship 2016
It is an honour and a great pleasure for the Mounted Games Association Germany (VRMGD) to be
hosting the IMGA European Championship from the 25th July to the 31th July 2016. The event will
take place on an area to the south of Hamburg which is famous for international eventing
championships: www.azl.luhmuehlen.de. There is good freeway access leading to the site.
Further, the area offers a lot of space for all ponies, riders, supporters and visitors. The
whole site will be kept under surveillance. Summer in Northern Germany offers a moderate
climate. There are rooms and cosy small hotels to rent for riders, trainers and supporters
within a short distance. Further information concerning booking and other details will be
available
soon
on
the
website

In the course of the Europeans, we will organise a friendly international competition, the
Luhmühlen Individual Masters 2016, for individual U17, U14 and U12 riders.
The team competitions will take place on an all-weather arena with six lanes. The
qualifications for the individuals will take place on grass with eight lanes. The individual
semi-finals and finals will take place on the all-weather arena with six lanes.
We offer a full meal service for riders and registered supporters and with this, we hope to
establish a basis for a successful competition. There will be breakfast buffet and warm
dinner from Wednesday morning to Sunday morning. A big tent offers the possibility to be
eating together. There will be a welcoming party (German evening) on Wednesday. The
