Courses in German as a Foreign Language: Spring Semester 2016
Thank you for your interest in our German courses. In order to offer you a course that suits your
present language level, we need to evaluate your language skills in a placement test, which takes
60–90 minutes. If you have passed a Goethe or TELC examination after January 2015 you do not
need to take the placement test. In this case, please attach a copy of your certificate to your
enrolment. Written applications are processed in the order received.
Placement tests and counseling will take place according to the following schedule. No
registration is necessary; simply select a date and location that suits you.

On the above dates, individual counseling will be available for both the Goethe Institute
examinations and courses in German as a Foreign Language. Our instructors will be pleased to
answer your questions and offer advice specific to your needs. The tests are free of charge and
without obligation.
On Friday, February 12 in Zürich and Tuesday, February 16 in Winterthur: We would like to offer
you additional information about our teaching methods and give you the chance to see a selection of
the teaching materials used in our courses and for the Goethe Institute examinations.
