Date / Time: Wednesday 13 April 1210-1300 Place: Koshinkan 723 Kyotomorrow academy is an internship program involving free cultural experiences, meetings with business leaders, Japanese language career support, interning with companies and job / recruiting fairs. It has been set up by the Kyoto Consortium of Universities to help international students find jobs in the city and increase the contact between international students and Kyoto's businesses. Once students have joined an orientation session they can join as many sessions / cultural events as they wish, although the more the better. When they leave the program students will receive a certificate listing the sessions they have participated in. Those with only English can join the program but as it is aimed principally at helping students find jobs here, some knowledge of Japanese is preferred. Students at any stage of their studies can join but the program is probably most suitable for 2nd years and above. It is also of value to attend even for those not initially thinking of staying in / working in Kyoto. This information session will explain about the program and feature a presentation by current IR college participants in it.
