During systemic bacterial spread, short-lived, innate immune cells as　granulocytes are in high demand and are consumed during the immuneresponse. Thus, they need to be replenished by enhanced production from
hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs). I will discuss how
inflammatory signals are translated into hematopoietic responses.!
Manz博士は、免疫・血液細胞の造血に関する研究の第一人者であり、これまで免疫学、血液
学の分野で多くの成果をあげております。本セミナーでは、炎症下における造血幹細胞の機能
につき最新の知見をお話いただきます。!
