Horizon 2020 Work Programme for 2016-17 and EU-Japan Cooperation

背景と趣旨：
Horizon 2020(ホライズン 2020) は、研究とイノベーションを促進するための EU 最大規
模のフレームワークプログラムであり、2014 年から 2020 年までの７年間にわたり約 800
億ユーロが投じられ、日本を含む世界中からの参加が可能です。また、2 年毎に以後 2 年
間で公募される課題とその詳細情報が、「ワークプログラム」として各分野より公表さ
れる仕組みとなっており、今年 10 月には 2016 年-2017 年に実施されるワークプログラ
ムが公表されます。
本セミナーは日欧の研究協力を念頭に、新しいワークプログラムの情報や、日本からの
参加例、日本での参加支援サービスをご紹介しながら、日本からの参加機会についてご
説明いたします。
Background and Objectives
Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €80 billion of
funding available over seven years (2014-2020) and open to participation from all over the world,
including Japan. Every two years, Work Programmes in various fields are published that contain detailed
call information for the next two years. In October 2015, the Work Programmes for 2016-2017 will be
published.
This event will highlight the opportunities for Japanese participation in Horizon 2020 by presenting
the new Work Programmes in light of cooperation with Japan, featuring examples of Japanese
participation and giving an overview of support services in Japan.
