Swivel The swivel K/MT 115 is completely made of high tensile titanium and equipped with a corrosion resistant ceramic ball bearing. Therefore it is absolutely maintenance-free and has a considerable longevity. Conventional swivels, in contrast, do have a steel ball bearing that is extremely susceptible to corrosion. In order to avoid direct contact to the salty sea water they are sealed and filled with oil. But even the smallest penetration of sea water can cause destructive corrosion.
